I recently ordered a JLUR and made some changes to the order, on the new POC I see that the invoice price on the model itself has increased from $38,546 to $39,006. Anyone else able to confirm an increase in price?

Can you post your order form?

Yes, I just came from my local dealer and the base price of an Unlimited Rubicon just went up by $500 today, March 1st. A $500 increase to an already too expensive Jeep. I guess FCA does it because they can.

Is this only on JLUR's or all JLU's, or Wranglers. I was expecting an increase in 2019 because of the new mild hybrid V6 but not mid model year. Very surprising. I am glad mine has already been ordered.

Can't tell you the answer to that, I was only interested in the JLUR.

That's really unfortunate but after todays announcement on tariffs on steel and aluminum, I have a feeling that things are going to get worse.

Long story short I was able to get my Sting-Gray Sahara order in right before close last night but salesman wasn’t able to officially add it to their order inventory until this morning. He said he’ll still do his best to honor the original price we agreed upon before the $500 addition (which I still find ridiculous considering all the 2018 options aren’t even in full production yet.)

Being that my order date says February, and was/is still in D status, I'm curious which price they'll try to stick me with. I have to sign a new POC for the change I made to it, which for some reason reflects the new price.

For what it's worth, i think the invoice/MSRP price is only set after the Jeep has been built, invoiced, and a sticker has been created. So, if you ordered yesterday, a week ago, a month ago, or whatever but it hasn't been built or invoiced yet, the price is going to change now. I hope for the rest of you that I'm wrong.

I noticed the Entertainment Package went up $200 on the jeep.com builder within the last week

The builder has been wrong up to this point. The MSRP on the sticker and POC sheets have stated $1495 for the infotainment upgrade from the beginning.

Not sure on that. This is pretty old but it was always my understanding that if you do it right you get price protection:

I'm gonna look for a more recent reference or may @JLWF Dealer Guy can weigh in.
