I'm looking now. I'll let you know what I find. I am talking to Steve White Motors in Hickory. They were recommended by a couple of the members.

I am also waiting for a call back from Kernersville. I am also contacting Northpoint in Winston-Salem and a few dealers in the Triangle.
I'd be curious to what you hear back from Kernersville or North Point. I'll likely order from Kernersville next weekend if their quote is still the same as last month. They are $400 more than Koons but it's worth it to not have to drive and deal with the local dealer. Make sure you mention Tread Lightly there. They quoted me an additional $850 off using it. They wouldn't be competitive without it. North Point will give $500 and seems to want my business more and are real easy to deal with. They are $250 higher than Kernersville. I'm sure they'd match. I'll go with Kernersville since they are a few miles closer but if something doesn't feel right I'll go to North Point.

i haven't gotten a quote yet from North Point. Kernersville came in high on their first quote but they are working on getting it lower.

They started at 1% below invoice. Then went to around 3% but with the Tread Lightly discount they are closer to 4.5%

Anyone see any red flags or anything off in the build?

Is $199 for wheel locks normal?

Also, this dealer said he cannot locate "CWJ - Soft top window storage bag" to order. Has anyone else had issues with this or been able to order it? I'm wondering why he can't find it.

Great deal 6% under invoice did u buy that from Tyson ?
Haven't purchased yet - this is just a quote for now; I want to make sure the dealer I'm working with is comfortable with me sharing the info before I say yes or no either way.

The 6% under is good, yes - I'm hoping for feedback on doc fees/wheel locks for $199/overall build/etc...

Thanks for the feedback!

Is a $1,000 deposit normal for factory orders? I thought I had paid a $500 hold on a credit card last time that was then refunded...

Also - any glaring misses in my build? The use of the vehicle is daily driver in Ohio, wife may also be driving it occasionally (Selec-Trac) and it will be hauling two little ones in car seats.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback!

Like the fenders on the Rubi, but I won’t be offroad enough to use the other features.

I would have gone Rubi just to have a Rubi (dumb, I know), but I really wanted Selec-Trac and that’s only available on Sahara.

Yes I think with a family your probably better off with Sahara , I probably won’t off road mine either but I love the look with the fenders and steel bumper, Sahara and Rubicon are both awesome looking jeeps inside and out !

Finally found a decent dealer in Oregon. 1.5 hr drive but that is okay. Finalizing paperwork tomorrow, placing deposit and ordering. I'll post numbers when its final.

Had a closer dealer that I already worked out all the numbers with. I went today to order, all of a sudden they wanted to pull credit before I ordered. I told them nope I'll apply when it comes in and walked. Don't understand that thought process, it's not like I'm ordering a Ferrari. :headbang: Not to mention I'm putting a big chunk down as well.

Rubicon 4 door
Granite, V6 auto, black leather, cold weather, safety pkg, body color top and fenders, proximity, LED, steel bumpers.
Still trying to decide on wheels, both look good. They will be a last minute choice.
