What is interesting about your comments is I had prox entry, too. I added it after the order was made bc I didn’t realize it wasn’t standard at the time I ordered and it wasn’t an option either. I wonder if the prox was the issue on mine (either defective or didn’t get added in time). Hmmm

Yes, it was not even possible to add this option to orders before December 12 or so, because it was not even in the ordering system. Everyone had to do a new order who wanted this option. My original order happened Dec 4th, and it was way too late by Dec 12 to do changes because it went to status D1 in a day after it was ordered. And then the 2nd order got stuck in status “I” due to quality issues so the factory made a new one as of Feb 1st.

This is a prime example of the silliness of Jeep Chat...some will give out a full status...some will go the extra mile and tell you where the shipment is geographically...some, well, don't. The ones that don't say that they don't have access to that info or that they can't provide it. I know from talking to a ton of 'em that they can get pretty much any info that's out there on the build and shipping process. Maybe the issue is that the more junior reps can't access some of the more fine details? Don't know, but they should all get on the same page, and by that, I mean that they should give you any and all status on your build that you request. It's not like it's a state secret...

Just talked to the Jeep Chat..I ordered a JLUR on 1/24, estimated ship date was 2/14 (two days ago)...such a lie lol we all know thats not going to happen whatsoever, my order is in D scheduling status day 23 of 30. Hope it doesn't go over 30 days or I know ill be in trouble.

Got it registered on my truck first and then transferred the plates to the Jeep.

Yea we ordered together. Pretty similar builds. She actually got ahead in the build process, but I caught up and it looks like they will be on the same truck.

Just went to pick my brand new Rubicon Unlimited up and it was sitting in a bay while they tried to diagnose the UConnect issue... unfortunately it is affecting the Jeep Wranglers as well.

So maybe that’s why my status never appeared to “change”?? That’s impressive if they got the new order that fast! I’m sure they grabbed one already in general order but still. This is more dramatic with more twists and turns than some of the tv I watched lol
