What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed a RC spare tire relocator got sick and tired of hearing the reverse warning beep. My question is the tire does not reach the bump stop on the back gate anymore is that an issue?

You have to extend the rubber. I've seen some use a piece of PVC pipe, some use the ends you find on walkers and some have shoved a rolled up bicycle inner tire tube in there. You want them to firmly press against your tire to limit the side to side vibration that can cause stress on your tailgate.

Thanks, What gauge cable did you use going back to the battery? Fuse in line?

The short cable between the solenoid and battery should be 2 gauge. No fuse.

Got my Jeep two weeks ago, then had a business trip out the country....side bars, bull bar and muffler delete were waiting for me when I got back...and the ball mount for the phone...bars are TAC brand...fairly inexpensive and will work for me...I took it around the block...exhaust note sounds good to me...we have a long drive this weekend up through CT, guess I will know by then if I really like it, or just think I do.

Bought Molle Bags thinking the plastic clips would magically hold them up... it didn’t work... so I went on a Lowe’s run and spent $22 on:
-1/8x2” Aluminum
-M6 Bolts (matching pre-existing hole in Tailgate under plastic cover)
-Spacer washers
-Lock washers

Works perfectly for me...
