The dealership (sales manager) placed the order as a stock inventory order which takes much longer to build the jeep than customer sold orders. By the time we got the general manager involved it was too late to cancel the order. Jeep can remove or add anything they want to a stock inventory order. They just happened to remove the cold weather package from our order. Living in the midwest the cold weather package is one of my must haves.
I went over 10 years of not having heat in my TJ (it didn't work and I just toughed it out). When I ordered this one, I wanted heat plus more heat. So I got the cold weather package, as well. :D

What the heck took so long to get it the first time???
The sales manager messed up when placing the order and placed it as a stock inventory order instead of a customer sold order. Needless to say we decided to be patient (15 weeks worth of patience) and wait for the jeep to come in. When it did it was missing the cold weather package, which one of my must haves. We have the general manager involved now and that's who I am dealing with. The sales manager I'm told has retired. The GM asked us not to blast them on social media. We asked him if the roles were switched what would he do. He said he definitely would want more money off of the vehicle and reorder. So that's is was I said, I want more money off of the vehicle, I want what was quoted for our trade in 15 weeks ago and the Mopar bead lock wheels and rings at cost. He said done! So we placed the order again with me hanging over his shoulder watching him place the order to make sure it was placed correctly.

I just checked with Jeep Chat and was told "your vehicle is coming along just great and is currently in for additional equipment! Nearly complete! Really only two more steps and they you will have your vehicle!" I'm starting to get excited!

still in KZ since 6/12 per chat, not sure how up to date they are or how long you usually sit before shipping

I got tired of entering in my VIN on Jeep Chat, so I followed their example and saved it and a canned message that includes my address and email address into NotePad so it'll be easier and quicker to get updates from them.

Yes. It's out of G and in to I. Inspections.

On a side note... their estimated delivery fluctuates. I've heard "We generally see an average of 6 weeks from ordering to delivery." and just now, I was told: "We generally advise 8-12 weeks from order to delivery."

Salesperson just told me it's expected in Selkirk, NY on June 29th (about 3 hours away) and is hoping to receive it before the 4th. He said he was going to have them mark it as "hot" as soon as it's unloaded, whatever that means.

I made the front page of the tracker today and have my Monroney sticker, but after an email this morning from my sales manager at the stealership, he told me I should receive the vehicle in about 4-5 weeks. Ugh....more waiting.
