What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Installed fox ATS steering stabilizer. Its for the JK but for the price couldnt beat it. Steering feels amazing now. I have it 20/24 clicks in. Makes the steering firm but not over powering. And it cut my bumpsteer down to miniscule amount. Very happy

What modifications if any did you have to make a jk fit jl?

None. It comes with all the parts including the stub to relocate it. I used my metalcloak set up i already had and gave the metalcloak stabilizer and tie rod bracket to my cousin. I got it at 4 wheel parts for $200

Would I need to get any kind of bracket for mine or would it bolt in with track bar? It looks really close to drag link, maybe just camera angle.

It gets close but doesnt touch it, i can roll it back a bit but i kept it closer to the drag link than the track bar. Its kind of in the middle between them both. The one i got is for the 1-5/8 tie rod so if you have stock tie rods youd need the one with the smaller clamp. It comes with a new bolt with the stub on it for the track bar though

It will definitely make camping a bit easier. If you build it like mine, I used 3 4x4 sheets of 1/2 plywood to build the drawers. I'm going to weight them when I get home to see how much it added.

Question. My Rock Krawler rear upper control arms tend to pivot in with normal driving. Is this normal or do I need to make an adjustment?

Well those sheets weigh like 20-25 lbs each, so only 60-75 lbs total. Not bad at all!

Reinstalled my stock muffler today. I tried the Dynomax delete, but it was just loud in an annoying way. While I had the stock one off the Jeep, I went ahead and painted it black with a couple coats of high temp Rust-Oleum.

I also have been trying to deal with the glare off of the shifter knob. I cut some tinting film (35mm diameter for anyone wondering) and stuck it onto the shiny bit of the knob. Unfortunately, it’s made no difference. But now I know the dimensions and have a way of cutting the circle, I’ll try and find something matte.

I'm going to try and do a write up this week in a new thread on the interior mods section. Overall, the hardest part was trying to align the drawer slides so they worked properly.

I haven't seen any before/after drop measurements yet from anyone including the OEM.
