2020 Colors

Does anyone have an idea of when the 2020 colors will be released? Hoping they keep Hydro blue and add crush. That would be a tough decision!

I'm guessing the colors will be exactly what they currently are with the exception of Mojito going away. I doubt they'll add hydro blue to to the Wrangler since it has bikini and ocean blue, I think hydro will stay a Gladiator only color. I also doubt they'd get rid of Punk'n for Crush

Would love to see Gator added to the 2020 Wrangler, but since it is a Gladiator color, not hopeful. Plus, I dig the brown leather on the Gladiator....

It would be unusual to keep so many of the same colors for 3 years in a row. On the JK they changed out at least 4 colors per year (after the second model year).

I need to place a replacement order, I am actually holding off to get details on color as well. I want another Punk'n, so if that will not be offered for 2020 I will order the 2019 again. the only real thing I would change is to add the front camera if it is offered, otherwise I will order exactly what I have now. one benefit of the 2019 if I get another is it will be in before I turn in my current Jeep so no downtime.

I refresh a few times a day hoping details around color or order banks opening up will be out. I hope to see some movement soon.

Not my favorite shade of blue but I’m a Duke grad and i live a mile from UNC so I’ve had enough of baby blue.

My daughter and I saw a blue Jeep JL today while shopping. I'm not sure what the color was, but it was damn beautiful, made me a little jealous. Just went through the configuration tool, and can only guess it was the Ocean Blue metallic. All I knew is that it was serious deep blue, glossy and metallic. She even liked it!

There is a really nice Bikini rubicon that runs around the Gilbert / Chandler area. It looks much different than the online tool, and is also a color both my wife and I really like in person. Still prefer Punk'n, but also like that blue. But then again, if purple was offered for 2020 I would have a hard time passing that up. We like something a little different.

Why is Mojito supposedly being discontinued? My finances have changed, so I'm 2-3 years out from getting a JL Rubicon now, but that is the only color I really want. (with a name like Lime, will any other color do?)

Buy a used one in a few years. The only colors that stay in production 5 years are black, white, silver, and red.

Right now there are only rumors, and we don't know for sure. I'm just saying that because of several factors:
1. If you look at special colors, especially green ones, over the last 20 years, they seem to have a bout a 2 year run. Gecko and Hypergreen come to mind.
2. People have reported that you can no longer get a Mojito painted top. This is first hand accounts on this forum of people trying to order and not being able to. I'm thinking they painted so many tops, and they are now gone. Look for Mojito painted fenders to go next.
3. They have Bikini now, which is a greenish blue. I've heard someone else say that Bikini will replace Mojito.

Please take this all with a grain of salt, I have no inside knowledge and these are just my thoughts. However, if you are 2-3 years away from buying, and want anything other then greyscale colors, I'd imagine none or very few of the current colors will be around then. However, there should be some equally fun, yet different colors!

I live near FCA HQ so always seeing vehicles that sometimes look out of place. Was traveling by one of their satellite facilities the other day and saw a JLU on the road that didn't look right. Got closer to it and it was the color that was throwing me off. It was what I would call Root Beer. A bronzy brown. Not a fan of brown but this metalic color looked pretty good. Couldn't get close enough for a picture. Have to assume it's a new color coming out.
