2020 Colors

Woah Woah Woah why do you think this? That's the only color I want. I may have to snatch one up quicker that I had planned.

I believe historically they've only kept yellow in the mix for a year or two at a time, then moved onto something else. And when it does come back, it's not always the shade of yellow you want. That's why when I realized the Sky top was available and it can be had in a fantastic shade of yellow, I didn't waste much time in getting my order in (this March) as the yellow had already been run for 1.5 years. Also, I'm not seeing evidence that it's been popular (unlike the mojito).

That's awesome, glad you found one. I felt bad for you how the first one turned out.

I wonder if they had planned to eliminate mojito, but because it's been so popular, they decided to keep it around. Just by the number of posts on individual color threads, mojito seems to be the most popular.

I wouldn't take the show and tell threads as an indication of popularity. White, black, and granite are the most popular colors and they don't have a lot of engagement on the show and tell threads. I believe Mojito is one of the least popular colors in terms of volume but I haven't seen any recent numbers to back that up.

I bet Gobi will be a 2020 color since its on the Gladiator already! My wife and I are having a hard time deciding this go round, we were all set on Mojito and while I love the color just don't know if I want that much attention..lol. Next we decided to go with the Sting Gray and while I love the color in pictures in person it just doesn't speak to me as much, but still a cool color as the forums prove! However every time we see a Gobi colored Jeep on the JK we both really love that color so hopefully it will show up for 2020. Our last Jeep JK was Billet Silver and my wife really didn't care for that color and it grew old on me pretty quick as well, so here's hoping.

Mike Manley (I believe it was) directly said Gobi and Gator will not be available on the JL and are strictly Gladiator colors. Will they stick to that? Who knows.

Yup. Gobi is an awesome color. Maybe it will be an option eventually.

Well I stopped by a dealer today and confirmed that I definitely want the yellow so I'll be ordering soon. It must not be that popular because they couldn't find a yellow one with even close specs in their network. I've seen different yellows and Hellayalla is the perfect shade for me.

If yellow is what you want (which is what my wife always wanted), it's not likely to get better than now. Also, yellow supposedly holds its resale value the best (although it takes longer to find the right buyer).

**EDIT** Also, this color shows dust the least of any color I've ever owned. I notice the black plastic and the windows being dirty before I ever notice the yellow being dirty. In fact, I've never noticed that the yellow was dirty at all.

I owned a yellow Xterra and have a yellow paddle board. Both attract little black flies and all sorts of other flying bugs..Just like flies to shit. Drove me crazy.

Thanks, that was the day it was picked up. It hadn't even been washed after transport. Curiously, I see you have a 2017 GTI. I had a 2017 GTI Sport as well, but ultimately sold it to pay for Stella here.

Supposedly much sooner this year. According to an internal FCA calendar 2020 MY is to start production 7/22 which means 2019 ordering will end any day now. Has this date changed since the calendar was leaked? Idk.

I priced out a 2019 JLUR Red w/ Tan on Fathers day and they said a couple of weeks they were shutting it down for the 19s. I'm torn on waiting or not.

They're always going to have Red so if you'd rather have a 2020 then wait. Maybe they'll have a cool edition you'd like better than the Rubicon.
