Why is FCA still supplying the 68250506AE aluminum box, and not superseding it with the new cast iron box that is part of this TSB? Seems that the old part should be blocked from ordering to end the cycle of customer dissatisfaction.

The wheel is off to the left a bit, and it pulls to the left when you let go of the wheel. I was thinking it might just be a drag link adjustment, but I let them put it on the rack and get it squared away.
2020 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 6-speed with 13k miles, no mods except for Rubi take-off wheels/tires. Had appointment this past Tuesday for the clutch recall, oil change, tire rotation, roof leak, and had referenced the steering box TSB when I made the appointment. During check-in, the service...
Hmm, my experience is different. Every European manual I have owned that has a hydraulically actuated clutch shares the fluid with the braking system via a single reservoir - including my current other cars: a 2016 VW GTI and a 1984 Porsche 928.
The brakes and clutch use the same fluid from the same reservoir. The hose that is the subject of this recall draws the fluid from the reservoir to the clutch master cylinder, and is subject to damage from the clip to the wiring harness, with the possibility of leaking fluid or drawing air into...
My 6-speed has an open recall for that very thing.

No trimming. The one I bought specified JL Unlimited with Subwoofer. For some reason the link I posted, and the link in my order history now points to different mats. Here is an image of the description of what I ordered.
The idea for keeping the parking brake applied while dumping the clutch in 4th gear at 4k RPM is to make it stall. If it stalls without the clutch slipping, it is presumed that the clutch itself is fine. If it slips before stalling, or doesn't stall, then the clutch is damaged and needs to be...
Thanks. I have had it since September, it is serving as the family hauler. We took it on our Winter break in Feb, driving from Boston to St.Pete Beach FL and back, family of 4. It now has 10k miles, no issues - other than a cracked windshield and some random U-Connect issues.

I like it, it's pliable heavy rubber (keeps things from sliding around), and has good coverage.
1st Jeep for me. Here my past rides from the day I turned 16, in roughly chronological order.
1970 Chevy Townsman wagon (family hand-me-down in 1979 - sold at 125k miles)
1968 Pontiac LeMans convertible (1st car purchase for $150 in 1980 - sold at 156k miles)
1962 Austin Healey 3000 (father's...
What is this "fake shifting"? The clutch is a mechanical device actuated by hydraulics. As far as I know, there is no electronic/ECU control of clutch engagement/disengagement If you experiencing an increase in RPMs while driving along with your foot off the clutch, it is most likely the clutch...
