Are you sure the MOPAR items are covered in lifetime bumper to bumper?
My understanding is that the part is covered but not the labor. I have not confirmed this as of yet. I am more concerned about an aftermarket part voiding the lifetime warranty. My thought is that if I have a mildly customized Jeep (2 inch lift, 35s, and lights) with Mopar parts installed by a Jeep dealership I won't have any problems submitting a warranty claim later in the vehicles life. I know its the more expensive way to go, but I will sleep better going this way. I can also roll the upgrades into the financing.

I think this is a great idea considering the lifetime warranty covers claims up to the purchase price. Still, I wonder if it actually works this way. I thought that the regular warranty could deny claims due to "aftermarket" modifications, even if they are Mopar? What if the lifetime warranty covers the Jeep and the Mopar parts, but not claims on the Jeep that could be caused by the Mopar parts? (Driveshaft issue with Mopar lift, for example @ 100K miles).

I think if you want to commit to this plan, you should make sure that it does work as you hope. It would be a shame to purchase the lifetime warranty and restrict yourself to Mopar parts only to have problems down the road with either.

From what I have read, Chrysler would have to prove the defect was caused by the aftermarket part. There would be less of a question if Mopar parts "engineered" for the Jeep would be used.

Has anyone negotiated a lift or other aftermarket parts from the dealer they purchased from?

Thanks again!

That makes sense. It would just be simpler if you didn't have to count that they would have less of a chance to win a claim denial when the intent is to add more manufacturer's parts to the manufacturer's warranty.

On the JK, the front driveshaft should be upgraded for 2"+ of lift supposedly. If something happened there on the JL after 100k or 150k miles and one is counting on cashing in on that lifetime warranty investment, it would be really key to not be disappointed so far down the road because they point at the mopar lift.

Here's an example:

Mopar sells a 4" lift that includes a front upgraded driveshaft for 07-18 JK Jeeps
https://www.quadratec.com/products/16170_1024.htm

They also offer this 4" lift that does not include a front driveshaft for 07-11 JK. It says it's "complete."
https://www.quadratec.com/products/16170_1005.htm

I would imagine an 07' JK with 150k+ miles with the latter could have lifetime warranty and driveshaft problems that could be linked to the stock-length of the front drive shaft.

I just wish FCA would state clearly up front in some way how something like this would play out.

Just talked to Kent Schurtleff formally w/ Dillons. He was the salesman that did my build. He said he has joined a new dealership in Nampa, ID. The dealership is matching Dennis Dillons jeep offer and said they are going 8%-13% under invoice with $299 processing fee. Financing through the dealership. The way Kent talked, it sounds like they are going to be very competitive to get the JLs on the road. Definitely worth checking into and they may even beat Dillons. Here is the info.

If that 8-13% is under invoice rather than MSRP then it's an amazing deal!! I added it to the list, please verify that this is under invoice.

That was Kents exact words. 8%-13% under invoice. The Sahara I ordered was 8% under invoice when I ordered with him which is about 13% under MSRP. I would imagine with them matching Dillons price realistically 8% under invoice is what to would expect. He said they are going to be very competitive though so could be a little more. Either way, that is the best deal I've seen on the forums.

13% below invoice is pure thievery if true
Definitively would agree. I was very happy with 8% under invoice. Either way, it is definitely worth looking into if anyone is still planning an order.

FL:

Confirmed Pricing.

Beck Jeep, 4% under invoice, Stephen Fulp, $695 dealer fee, $285 Tags, 386.328.8863, Palatka, FL (Southwest of St. Augustine, South of Jacksonville). They advertise this deal on their web site.
So this is confirmed with the JL too?
I ask because this is the ad I found on Beck dealer website. It states 4% under invoice for JK Wranglers.
