No offroad fun for us this weekend, replacing a few of Toads control arm bushings, then chasing a vibration. Plus there's an electrical issue to solve. Woo fun stuff

Ok, we got the front upper control arm bushing, found the vibration, lucky we keep a spare rear driveshaft all rebuilt and ready. Did a lil on the electrical issue. And im beat. Tomorrow rear upper control arm bushings on the passenger side and look at the electrical some more. I tell ya, this hobby can get involved.

I found the reason for my high swr readings, my ant cable is grounded internally where it exits the gate and runs along the wire loom. It has to bend every time the gate is open and closed obviously but this location worked fine for the 3 years I had my JKU. I reached out to RightChannel Radios to see if they have a better cable for this kinda of duty. I will also swing by my local shop to see what they have

Finally got around to hanging and trying my hammock. It need a little adjustment but works good

Ok, so today we did Jenns rear passenger upper control arm bushings. Yesterday was the front driver upper control arm bushings. So what this means is that the other two uppers will soon follow, next the lowers. This is starting my 3 time replacing all of them. I point this out because i highly recommend that when you are shopping upgrades, also shop the price to maintain them. Jenn also got new tires and we installed a rebuilt rear driveshaft. On betty we had small clunking noise, found a loose sway bar link. Tightened it up, noise is gone. It is a never ending battle.

All these repairs were from running trails testing the new transfer case lol. It truly is a never ending battle.

I haven't had my top off since early october , hell i'm still using my fire place every morning here in north jersey!

Yes, Savannah is pretty wet as well. Still have the hard top on. One of my friends has been riding topless in his ol’ Jeep for more than 10 years. When you ask him, he says, well, I just get wet. Myself, I’m not there yet.

Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for this. I just tested my SWR yesterday and it was spot on. 1.2-1.3 on both channel 1 and 40. It's only been installed for about 3 weeks.
