What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Do you have more pictures of this in use at night? Any idea if the way you've mounted it will work with soft top? Looking for rear cargo lighting - Brawlee is a nice idea but it is hard top only. Looking for something that stays functional when I put the soft top on in the summer & when I put the hard top back on without having to swap things out.

It's pretty amazing as far as can tell. Death Valley this weekend will be the test. Everytime I go out I come back with an idea to make trips better.

Hung the Harken hoister and popped the top. Couldn't stand it anymore, the sun was shining out and in the low 30's, but had to!! Of course, it went back on after a VERY SHORT drive.

Ok, goofy Tazer mini question. I’m taking my Jeep in to get the auxiliary switch bank wired in. Before I go to the dealer, do I unmarry and disconnect the Tazer mini, or do I just disconnect it and plug the two ends back into their original spots? If I do have to unmarry it, how long does that take? Thanks in advance for your help.

You MUST unmarry and then remove the Mini.

Takes less then 5 min. to unmarry the Mini. Then you need time to "plug the two ends back into their original spots".

Important: You need to think about how are you going to activate Aux. Dealer can do with their wiTech tool. Perhaps that is part your install deal with them.

You also can active Aux with your Mini. Dealer would do the Aux Switch install, and you would activate Aux with your Mini.

Anyway, whatever you do, do not tell anyone at the dealership that you have a programmer and that you will be using it on your JL.

Can't tell any difference at all but I haven't had the center piece in yet that brings it all the way to the top of the windshield. I don't think that will make a difference though. Very happy with it.

Installed my K&N intake and throttle body spacer. Having a manual I enjoy the extra noises lol, not sure if it’s in my head or not but the engine seems a hair more responsive too.

I installed the same kit Hydro with similar results. I like the sound and can tell it's more responsive. Opened it up more with the bigger throttle body and spacer that is for sale now from MMX4x4.com

Removed the Rubi decal and added a new one. Also added a decal to my aftermarket windshield.

Thank you Rhinebeck. I know not to say anything to the dealer. I know I can activate the switch with the tazer, but we’ll see what all they are willing to do for me because of their goof up. I appreciate the quick response.

Im a bit confused, i thought the aux switches were already set up and ready to go. The wires are by the battery. What or why do you have to go into the dealer? Do you really have to have the switches activiated in order for them to work?
