No reason they couldn’t be made compatible - most bumpers for my f-250 come either plain, or pre-drilled with mounting holes for you to move the factory sensors in to.But are the aftermarket steel bumpers going to have the sensors built in? I would like this technology but want new bumpers!
The only concern i would have is that they are very sensitive to alignment. My friend has a body shop and he says they are a pain.Artec's new steel rear bumper has four sensor holes drilled into it. (See Artec's bumper shown in this forum).
Artec replied to my inquiry and said that the back-up sensors are all bundled together in one harness...so it should be fairly easy to replace the OEM bumper.
I don’t understand how this could possibly be more helpful to women than to men.I got it on my factory order and it was totally worth it, blind spot is great tech, women that drive said it helps them
Are the airbags part of the safety group?Safety group is awesome, blind spot is worth its weight in gold for me, especially with beltway driving.
No, they are standard across all trim levels. Are the airbags part of the safety group?
Okay. ThanksNo, they are standard across all trim levels.
Door was open, not realI think I just saw a video on teraflex where the jeep kept putting itself into park because it was detecting some in the proximity....they parked another jeep side by side it. Ultimately they had to roll it out or use 4L.
Assuming that's real....I don' like it.
I' Also assuming that won' happen without the safety group
Here it is
You shouldn’t, that’s a deceiving videoWell I feel silly then
