Sahara checking in. Mods in the signature. headlights and grille coming soon. To my knowledge, I haven't seen a Punk'n w/ a black grille so... first?

I feel like I’m the only one without a new front bumper lol I haven’t read my warranty yet but I did the bumper to bumper to match the PT.. 5yr 60k.. would it void my bumper to bumper?

I know I can get it done at a connected shop to the dealer but I’d rather do it on my own and save the coin..

Adding a bumper, or and part for that matter will not void a warranty. They can deny a claim if they can prove the aftermarket part caused the failure tho. For example, put a supercharger on and to blow the motor from too much boost, your not getting a new motor but they cant deny a wheel bearing failure because of a supercharger type thing

Ill be swapping over my JK bumper to the JLU once it shows up, might be the first one running a 8274 on the front :D

But yah, unless your dealer is extremely uptight, they have no problems with modded jeeps. Ive got a good relationship with my service department here that they will let me take the parts and swap them on my own time so I am not down a Jeep for a day. ive warrantied wheel bearings, driveshafts, seals and pulleys with no issues on my JK and its lifted about 3.5 on 35's

Well I wouldn’t go that far man there are plenty that off road lol however, I get where you’re going with that.

Any issues with shifting into 4H or 4L?
It was a little stiff when I first got it but now it shifts in and out pretty easy

LED was one of 2 options I wanted, the other being the Selec-Trac, but couldn't find at my preferred dealer. I traded in a 2011 V6 challenger and my 02 TJ and only 1 dealer I met with would take 2 for 1. Another dealer had everything I wanted in Billet silver but a dealer trade wouldn't get me any discounts so I chose Punk'n over the blue (my dealer had 2 identical Saharas) to stand out.

Black high-top fenders with LED markers and LED tail lights in the future.

Cross posting to keep the thread going ...

Here’s my Black Sport S with some Rubicon take offs added thanks to JLWF members. It’s my first wrangler. 2nd Jeep(‘01 GC which I liked). Coming from a ‘15 535xi lease.

18 JLU Sport S
“Mods”:
- rubicon wheels/tires
- rubicon springs/shocks
- rubicon front bumper with LEDs
- ROAM sidesteps (body)
- MOPAR hitch
- small antenna with poor reception
- removed sport stickers and plastidipped Jeep / trail emblems and key holes
- to do: window tint on fronts
- to do: add rigid LED cubes I picked up
- to do: waiting for inspired lighting LED headlights to be delivered
- to do: waiting for hinge protector film to be delivered.

MOAB edition Jeeps welcome here?

33826822-A7EB-490F-BFFF-4A6F0BAC58A4.jpeg

Truth is I went to the dealer with the intention of getting a Rubi but when I saw the MOAB and thought about it... this is my daily driver, I live in Florida where hills don’t even exist and every other dude that drives a Jeep in Miami has a Rubi that is a pavement queen on 38’s... the MOAB was the winner. It costs the same if not more then a Rubi. It’s a SaharaCon if you will. Looks mean and drives like a dream. I can see a minor streak of jealousy when i wave to the Rubi drivers. :giggle:
Florida would be a hell of a drive from here, but if I was there and you waved I’d wave back zero jeleousy because A. You got the best color, B. Because the Moab kit is the best of a whole bunch of worlds (I’ve posted about this somewhere on these forums), and C. Because its a Wrangler. Great looking rig! - though here in CO I’d dump the M/Ts cos the crushed ice on the roads here... M/T tires will try to kill you. Though in Florida bet you can find some mud!!! That would be exciting :)

Coming back down from my little brother's on his driveway which is about 1/2 mile and depending if it snows or washes out requires 4 wheel :like:

But he does his best to keep it in tip top shape at (most) times. Beautiful drive none the less! Love Jeeps, love CO!
