Mainly for the full time 4wd. It's the best thing ever if you're on the snow belt and have to go between blacktop and snow throughout your commute. Another advantage is not having to stop, then turn on lockers when you're only a tiny bit stuck. With BLD, you can get going again in a split second. MOAB is pretty much perfect for everything besides extreme rock crawling.Zero disrespect to anyone with a moab, I like them - but am I missing why they're so popular versus Rubicons? Sticker price on my Rubicon with every option possible except for leather, painted matching top (still have hard top), and painted fender flares is about what a moab goes for with smaller tires and no lockers.
Again, no disrespect just trying to understand why people are choosing moabs over rubicons considering how close the pricing is.
It really does save a lot of hassle for those who want the look of a Rubicon but the benefits of a Sahara Select Trac
