Welp. Put on 35s. Lost acceleration. Shifting is....not what it was.... somethings off with the gears perhaps? All I know is Im not liking the engine anymore. Most of the time when I floor it and get nada, zippo. It literally feels just like the normal v6. Does anyone elses 392 choose when to hemi and when not to? Did anyone else experience this after changing out the wheels and tires? Im so sad right now. Speedometer was calibrated.....

Those are the Toyo Open Country’s? I’m going with the 37 BFG K02 C Load. They sit about 35.5 mounted. I’m getting both the tires and 392 shortly. Curious to know if I’ll have the same issue.

My Hydro Blue 392 is shipping! I did the same pixel decal without the flag. Going to wait and see if I want the the hood decal. How do you like it? I’m also going to remove the wrangler sticker.

I normally run ko2s... i just wanted a change so im trying out the toyo at3... just put nitto graps on daughters jeep... man they look FIERCE. I did the 37 thing on a jlu and it was just not a good fit for me on the highway...the lift was just too much. I live in 35 land now... guess im getting old. But i am interested to see how your acceleration changes...

Makes sense. I am still youngish but slowly beginning to understand the “getting old” process and how it affects things around you.

I will definitely update you once I have everything installed. 35.5 seems like the perfect sweet spot for the 392. I hope you can get your issue addressed!

Thank you 😊
Hey Jenne. Are you on FB? There’s a couple of 392 groups with tons of folks doing 35s. May grab some good details from all the discussions on there as well.

Lol. I know what you mean. I only use FB for Jeep stuff (couple Jeep groups, and Marketplace).

Today was the day!

Man she’s pretty!! (And the Jeep ain’t bad looking either!!) 😊

35s soon, spare carrier, lower front control arms, and I’ll get my winch and Baja light bar mounted up. That’ll be all for a while.

It’s nice to be back in a Jeep. Sold my 18 JLUR, and traded in my 14 c63 amg…I was about 6k short of breaking even. I feel great about it.

Oh and Brandon Mazza at Fair Oaks Jeep in Chantilly (northern Virginia) is a great dude, I hope to buy from him again.
