I will definitely be getting after market bumpers. Is there any reason to order the steel bumpers on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon? Do they come with any other upgrade that would be worthwhile?

There are a ton of aftermarket steel bumpers that look better, are stronger and cheaper than the steel bumper group on the JLs.

Imo i would rather have an aftermarket steel bumper than the stock JL steel bumper. But, its all subjective and personal preference .

Correct me if im wrong, but the bumper is not winch ready. Still needs winch plate, which is another $250.
All bumpers need a winch plate.

Yes it is winch ready.

And yes accessories add up.

Correct. I bought a slightly used steel front bumper from a JLUR owner who bought aftermarket bumpers. I paid $850 total for the bumper, skid plate and LED fogs. Then another $250 for the OEM winch plate. I could have saved money with aftermarket but, I love the low profile OEM steel bumper and how the winch fits inside the bumper. For the OP's question, it's all about personal preference. Get what you like.

Impossible to buy cheaper and get better.

Buy the better, cheaper one and let me know how it looks in a year.

That is not correct, the rubicon steel bumper IS winch ready.

What makes you say it isnt??? Because you need the plate??? You always need a plate

Way cooler, stronger and better options out there . But then youd be stuck with that ungodly plastic bumper until then.

You say "you always need a winch plate" but that's not exactly the truth and I'm sure you know that. A winch plate that is integral to an aftermarket bumper is not a separate piece and should not be labeled as such.

As far as the benefits of the OEM steel bumper, it looks pretty good and is adaptable from full width to stubby. That's about it.

An emoji is not much of a discussion.
You just said the plate is "built in" to an after market, yes?

You always need a plate...so if you buy a "better" aftermarket bumper with the "plate" built into it for "cheaper" by all means go for it bud. But I've owned jeeps for 25+ years - TRUST ME you get what you pay for. There is a reason why the mopar steel bumper is expensive. And there is a reason why the plate is sold seperately... because not everyone will install a winch or the bumper would be even more money.

By all means my friend by the cheaper better bumper with the built in plate it's your rig not mine. Just friendly advise.

I don't think you know what you're talking about at all. The Mopar offering is more expensive because it's from Mopar, all of their stuff is overpriced. The plate is not included with the Mopar bumper because they want to charge you even more for less material.
