I live in MO and drive through a cpl small towns in my commute to work everyday and one town they will pull you over for anything.

Driving too close they feel even though the cars infront were stopping and I was braking just not as fast as they were bc honestly no need

Last one a month ago was on my way home he said I served a little. I told him I was blowing my nose and showed him my Kleenex in passenger seat. Should've offered to let him feel them to verify I used them.

Didn't get a ticket in either instance but almost every day I see someone pulled over in that town. There's only one policeman there on duty but sometimes sheriff's chill around there too.

That last time I got pulled over I thought I was safe to go over speed limit a little bc I seen they had someone pulled over. I didn't pay enough attention to notice it was the sheriff deputy and not the normal police man lucky I wasn't speeding on top of blowing my nose

Anyway I feel they would definitely pull me over for no front plate. Maybe not though we got a lot of farm trucks and the ones over weight limit that don't need front plate driving around everywhere here

So it’s too late to add steel bumpers to my order. He said he could quote me to have them added on at the dealer, probably gonna be much more.

What are my best aftermarket options? I do love the look of the factory front steel bumper.

Aftermarket steel all the way! Factory plastics are weak and fade quickly. Also the new “painted” fenders should not have that black abs trim around the bottoms.

Another thing to consider; buying OEM steel bumpers the suspension will be setup at the factory without any front or rear sag. The JK had different factory spring configurations, for example with a tow option you received stiffer rear springs. What could happen when you order the plastic bumpers and change to heavy aftermarket; your suspension height could be affected.
That’s a good point, I’ve been debating on the steel versus plastic bumpers and I’m really glad I did a search and found this thread. I’m convinced and going to order my two door Rubicon with steel bumper group

So...are the springs different if you have plastic/no tow versus steel bumpers + tow Package.

I went with the base plastic bumpers because I'll eventually find a better after market one to put on.
