It would be nice to hear something bout the hold up on 2019 2.0L Wrangler production and when they are expected to start being built

Hello Jeep Cares... My brand-new 2018 Wrangler JLU Rubi has the same problem with the rear door spraying fine dust into the cabin as reported here: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...stip-let-the-dust-in.12608/page-2#post-443218

I, too, need to have my rear door weather seals replaced. And I am certain that my servicing Jeep dealer knows NOTHING about this. Can you help me get my brand-new (yes, I said it again, adding "$50K" to the brand-new part!) Jeep FIXED?

This is a true shame. With the other problems I'm having, I am actually beginning to feel SORRY I BOUGHT A JEEP (my first, and also likely my LAST). ;-(

Hey Jeep Cares -- here's a doozy. Yesterday while I was driving about 75 MPH on the highway, the rear window on my brand-new 2018 Wrangler JLU Rubi (2K miles) suddenly imploded with a mighty CRASH! The window was closed, the door locked, with a few soft items in the back but nothing even near the glass. We suspect that a rock kicked up and got sucked into the window. But it's SAFETY GLASS and I would not expect a rock hit to cause it to completely disintegrate. Is this a defect??? Insurance will cover it but with a $1K deductible. This appears to be a defect. Can you help???

Please consider this to be URGENT as my brand-new $50K Jeep is NOT protected from weather, is noisy as hell, and CANNOT BE SECURED. This is awful!

Hey Jeep Cares, one more... THAT MAKES THREE PROBLEMS TO REPORT IN ONE DAY. See why I am starting to be sorry that I bought a Jeep?

THE WEATHER SEALS ON THE FRONT DOORS ALSO HAVE TO BE CHECKED AND THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR SEAL DEFINATELY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. YESTERDAY'S EIGHT HOUR HIGHWAY DRIVE WAS SO NOISY -- YOU CAN PRACTICALLY -FEEL- THE AIR COMING IN THROUGH THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR SEAL.

AGAIN I AM CERTAIN MY SERVICING DEALER DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. CAN YOU HELP ME GET THIS FIXED.

I am SOOOO sorry I bought this Jeep! Nothing but trouble!

No way they cover that rear window. Those don't just blow out, or in your case, inward. No way that's a warranty issue. Door seal, maybe. Rear window, nope.

Sorry to see that happen to you. I've got a $1k deductible, too, so I know the pain. I'm getting ready to replace my 2nd windshield. Guess why? A nice rock in Moab. Uggh. Not Jeep's fault, though.

It's tempered glass, it's made to do that (shatter into pieces). Your windshield is different and laminated.

Windshield breakage is covered under comprehensive not collision. Usually a smaller deduction, if not "0". I am on windshield on my existing 2017 JKU. Zero deductible is not really that much more than the $100 deductible, at least not with my carrier

I'm with USAA and my deductible is $1k across the board. I'll have to check to see how much that's saved me. I'm sure I've used it up by now with 2 windshields.

See how you hear nothing from Jeep cares except for the easy stuff? My daughter finally had enough of hers so she got rid of it this weekend. Hated driving it. She was afraid to take both hands off the steering wheel to change the radio.

I left out part of my message. I am on windshield #4. Zero cost. Comprehensive claims, at least with my coverage, won't increase your policy costs like collision does. I have $1000 ded on collision and $0 ded on comprehensive.

Danw....I have USAA too and they have a additional glass coverage you can add to your insurance for like $30 for the year. Very well worth it and it has a $0 deductible claim. I’ve used it multiple times for the front window on my old Jk. Anyone who drives should consider adding the glass coverage as it’s well worth the piece of mind.
