Trying to decide which mount to use for my hyperspot. Any feedback from current users would be appreciated.

With larger lights, I like the mopar. Also since that body piece is plastic, in time it may fade like some grills and not match the hood. The mopar covers it so much it won’t be noticeable. However with a small light, mopar mounts look like overkill to me.

I voted the Rock Hard base solely upon appearance but I think I would buy the ones that give the best lighting...which ever those are?
I'm leaning that way but would probably have to have it powder coated or painted.

Rock Hard is the simplest and least noticeable mount, however, I personally went with the Rough Country mount. The lights sit further out and don't obstruct as much windshield or shine as much light on the hood.

I went with the rough country since it comes with the light for a good price. Then if I decide to upgrade to the rigids, I already have a set of mounts.

I have the Baja Designs mount with Mopar 5" lights, but i will change it to KC A-Pillar mount. I hope this mount be more strong. My lights are always shaking.

I ordered them all and will try each and see which one vibrates the least

I like your thinking. My bet is on the Mopar and Rock Hard probably won't vibrate and then the Baja and Rough Country will vibrate on washboard roads. Nothing bugs me more than vibrating lights.

Rough country looks like it could vibrate/push and rotate easily...unsure why that little arm offsets it to the exterior unless it is for better lighting. It looks like an odd way to mount though offset looking to rotate. Maybe someone that has them could post, or share a pic of the light pattern even.

Go Rhino makes a dual pod mount that looks a lot better

Removed the Baja Designs mount and installed the new KC Hilites mount. These mounts are excellent and very strong, my Mopar 5" lights no longer vibrate.
