The trigger is a smaller version of the SPod. It runs the lights by a wireless remote or phone app. Works great and only 200 bucks for 4 circuits

Ok, I'm a little out of the loop. Why would you wire up your offroad lights to be run by your smart phone or wireless? Not trolling, just confused. You can just wire them up directly to a switch or your aux switches, right? And you wouldn't need a "trigger" anymore....or do you still need some type of ballast for LEDS?

I dont have the aux switches. I see them on ebay for $300 plus install and having the dealer flash the jeep.
I used the Trigger so that i didn't have to add switches.
It's not necessary for the lights, but nothing that i have added to my jeep is necessary. Its another gadget (as i type this on a smartphone)

Okay...now I get it. I technology challenged at times and tried to add front room lights onto Alexa...what a pain to maintain. At one point I had one light on and one off and had to be manually turned off and rebooted...I'm seeing that happening on my Jeep. Lol

I ordered mine and ordered some facory match paint from my local auto paint store. Gonna spray them body color & hoping to get a better appearance. And if it does touch, it'll be less likely to show damage. At least, that's the plan.

I love mine. Finally finished wiring up the pods to my Trigger. They tighten down nicely and no paint scratching.

Specifically which rigid lights did you put on. One spot and one flood? Configuration?
