Pretty easy....

Cascadia license bracket and Factor 55 flatlink. Still need to pretension. I like the removable clutch lever. Deters some idiots...
It's almost the same price as a Warn VR8S, do you think this is good without the bias that you are an owner of it?

Really nice. On their website they had this installed on the bumper I like and it’s a fraction of a WERN unit. Let us know how it holds up to some use.

I have no winch ownership experience. Used but never owned. Mostly, I have some yard projects and maybe 2 trail runs each year. And admittedly a “cool” factor, too. But all that - not necessary, for me, to spend big bucks for top-of-the line Warn. Plus, that steel bumper you see there, brand new from Mopar - $450 all in. :) Yep. See my other posts... So that gave me some wiggle room on a winch. It came down to price and a few features - rope, 10k, light , removable clutch switch, wireless remote.

Also weight, about 63-64 lbs.

JCR - fit is fine. I had some missing hardware (due to improper packing), that I had to procure from Home Depot... I had no trouble accessing bumper nuts to tighten. Winch sits basically right up against very bottom edge of grille fascia. Maybe a 1/16" between them, A bigger winch may be problematic. There is only one set of mounting slots, and they only allow left right adjustment.

I have the Quadratec Q-Performance Stealth 12000lb winch with steel cable. Waterproof/submersible to 3ft for 30 minutes, wired/wireless remote, LED lit drum, removable clutch handle to deter the Eddie Haskell types, heck what's not to love? At $550 it's a deal. Which winch would you want to winch with?

That...actually seems like a good deal. I was not a believer in the knock off winch until I saw two friends, one with an Engo, another with a Smittybilt, absolutely abuse them. Both of them just keep pulling, even when ran hard and put away wet. They get used about every other trip since they like to put their JKURs in places that JKURs shouldn't go.

I'll probably be checking out the Q-Tec Stealth once my JLUR gets here!

The JCR plate says it’s made of 3/16” steel, other plates like Rusty’s Winch plate is made of 1/4” steel. Do you feel the extra thickness is worth another $60?

Just bumping this for those asking about fitment :)

I think I’m sold on the winch. Still mulling the mounting plate. $199 for the JCR that is 3/16” steel or Rusty’s for for $264 and 1/4” steel?

Rusty’s web page lists their mounting plate (RR-WM55-JL) for $209 plus $28.43 shipping. I’m about to order it. Am I missing something? Thanks.

I recieved the JCR plate from Quadratec today. I sent Rick a PM as instructed on the quadratec thread and they charged me $179 (free shipping). Plate looks very sturdy and well made too.
