@JeepCares
1. Remove or replace the Aux Battery. It is always dead or charging. It’s a bad design.
2. Factory deployed retracting side steps. Similar to rock slide engineering.
3. More range on the 4xe. Get it to 50mi.
4. Be brave on the colors. Gone is Punk’N, reign, yellow, mojito… enough...
Jesus. Mid next year for 2020. Called Jeep and they said no estimate. They also said no reimbursement for anything aftermarket.
I really don’t wanna sit waiting another 7 months on a fire hazard. How is this okay for a potentially fatal flaw?
3rd recall with no solution and continued fire (death) risk…. Yeah I’d say class action would be warranted. I don’t have time on my hands but hey there’s always the Legal Eagle Team. Lol. Love their YouTube channel.
I love my Jeep. But I carry seatbelt cutters specifically to get my kid...
Since I can’t afford to trade in for a 4xe. I’m poor with liquid funds but ironically make too much for the tax break now, will have to look into centerforce. I see they have two models. Anyone know the diff?
I might ask my shop to remove them and just put the cheapest crap on there I can find. Lol. Put them on my new one when I get it.
can’t be that hard to find plastic front and rear bumpers.
I have a 2020 JLUR punk’n as well with a Manual. I love it and hate the idea of getting rid of it but my wife has never learned the manual. The 4xe I should be able to get to and from work on electric. My kiddo though. He’s in a car seat and it terrifies me if it went up and I had to get him...
Is reign a clear coat, metallic, or pearl. The pics looks pearl on the builder but strange it made no mention of a pearl coat.
I have a pumpkin 6spd manual and would love to go to a 4xe. Purple is my fave color. Orange 2nd.
In terms of efficiency, not MPG but purely how much energy of the fuel makes it to the road vs being lost as heat and waste ICE engines have nothing on electricity.
ICE engines loose a massive amount of the energy in gasoline to wasted heat and friction.
But pound for pound even with that...
When they had it they basically went system by system for a month letting it sit between each one. They were great and actually paid my car bill for the month with some other goodies. Eventually they replaced batteries and a control module.
Probably. I just really don’t wanna lose my Jeep for another month. It was all handled by FCA and the dealer was just doing whatever the engineers aid to do.
I have the tow. They had mine in the shop for about a month or so trying to figure out the battery drain and replacing stuff. It’s been about 8mo to a year and they be dying again.
I’m not sure if it’s a Jeep glitch or it’s just got enough going on in the background that a 40min round trip 7...
Are both the main/aux batteries on the 3.6 AGM? I leave my car a week at a time and the ESS goes down. Was gonna try a battery tender when I leave it for a week.
As an update I re-torqued my body bolts one year later. Only one was out of spec and only about 1/8th of a turn.
I did not fully remove them or add/remove any loctite. Just heat, loosen, retighten.
