High Top fender flares

I just ordered them for my Sport S. States that they come with the Rubicon DRLs. Has anyone done this yet? Does that mean either a computer flash from the dealer, or a programmer, is necessary for them to work? The instructions don't say anything about it.

The wiring from your sport to the fender flares does not contain the wire for DRL’s. It would require a wiring harness that provides power to the DRL separate from what comes stock on your jeep. Now, whether or not that comes with the new fenders, I do not know.

I am waiting to see that as well. Being a mopar available upgrade, i would assume they address that somehow. But, I will address it either way.

on a sport there is a single bulb in the fender and the rubicon non led there are two one for the running and one for the turn, probably comes with the wiring needed for the running light

Supposedly, it comes with the LED version. It will be interesting to see if they have any provision for that, with it being installed on a Sport.

It would likely require a dealer flash or aftermarket programmer to set the front turn signals to LED to prevent bulb out warnings and hyperflash.

82215740AC-FS is the part number of paintable fenders for 4 door models.
82215741AC-FS is the part number of paintable fenders for 2 door models.
82215742AC-FS is the part number of black plastic fenders for 4 door models.
82215743AC-FS is the part number of black plastic fenders for 2 door models.

Hey OP, did you get these installed yet? Would like to see picks. Also, did you purchase them to run 35's without a lift? Are they just the two front fenders? LMK

It’s all 4. This is 35’s without lift. Waiting on a Tazer to program the LEDs to stop hyperflash and out warnings. But everything works. Super easy install.

What about the DRL? How does it hook up to make that work?

All the wiring was there. Just needed to disconnect the wiring molex that is behind the inner liner that goes to original factory turn signal. And then connect the new molex that is part of the new flare. The drl portion already lights up when turning all the lights on. And the bottom amber portion flashes like a normal turn signal.
