I parked in a spot a 4-door had just vacatedThat's a HUGE parking spot for NYC! lol.
I have to confess, the Jeep is demanding a bit of money too, tire, wheels, and now exhaust. It just wants more and more and I have a hard time saying no to a 3 month old!Urgh, sorry to hear that. The only silver lining I can think about is that it’s probably better to find out now when you’re in a position to extend your employment, then to get hit by a financial hardship a few months later after you’ve already retired. Good luck with the dental work.![]()

I usually park in the compact section, end of parking lot (out of harm’s way). Nalah fits just right.I parked in a spot a 4-door had just vacated![]()
Girlie aside...I’ve told my mother twice now in the past week that after yearrrrrs of me happily spoiling & out spending everyone, they all better step up with Jeep stuff money for Christmas & my birthday (New Year’s day!) in a few months. She thinks I’m kidding. I’ll keep pressing the fact that I most certainly am not !!!![]()
I can’t even tell you how often I’ve explained that same damn example to people! :cwl:Girlie aside...
Your comment reminds me of the “Sex and the City” episode where, after years of spending big $$$ on her friends’ wedding gifts and baby showers, Carrie decides to “register” at the Manolo Blahnik store so her friends can reciprocate and celebrate what she is passionate about (shoes).
Time for us single Jeepers to set up a Mopar registry?![]()

Just let us know where you’re registered, Lydia!I can’t even tell you how often I’ve explained that same damn example to people! :cwl:
The one line I keep repeating to people lately is, “we all make our choices!” Some people get married & have kids. They’re ‘rewarded’ for those choices with showers, parties, etc. Wherrrrrrre are the ‘rewards’ for those of us who choose to rock our lives independently?! It’s high time to give us some respect & lovin, too!!!![]()
Lydia, I couldn't agree with you more, when I married my second wife, we discussed having children & chose "no", I was 41 & she was 29.I can’t even tell you how often I’ve explained that same damn example to people! :cwl:
