I agree, pricey, yes. However, I have no idea what other vehicle I can buy that's a covertable in the summer and a beast in the winter. I can't think of one. Not that you are saying this but if one more non jeeper says to me "for a Jeep? !" regarding price. I'm going to drive over the hood of his Honda!
I agree man, Jeep is in a class of their own which is why they can set the price however they please

They dont have direct competition unlike the crowded mid size sedan and crossover market

Now please move your Jeep off my Honda Fit...youre crushing it :(

That's not really true

they're plenty of overpriced items people line up for (apple) simply because of the demand and lifestyle branding

The demand of Wranglers is high enough that people will pay no matter what

*insert shut up and take my money meme*
They got my 50k today! I never thought those words would excite me!

So serious question

Do you think a $1000 increase compared to the current increase would affect Jeep's sales or desirability in the marketplace?
I really don't think this is a Jeep Money Grab. Here's why, look what you got with a JK for a mere 3/4k less. I'm starting go think I got the shaft in 2012 paying just inside of 40k for an Unlimited Sahara. At least this time I'm getting way more for money. (at least I hope so).

When I did this for the JKU Sport and Sport S compared to the JLU Sport S it is over a $4,000 difference.

For a JLU Rubicon you more so have to Compare it to the Recon than a JKUR.
RECON, BUT BETTER WITH WAY MORE OPTIONS AND FUNCTIONALITY.

Not sure I follow. A $1000 increase above the current $2800 increase for the Rubicon?

Still debating between the upgraded Rubi wheels... Would need to see them in person including Sting-Gray (might be too trendy)

collage.webp
I personally did not upgrade after some debate. I just thought that the stock wheels looked more Rubicon like. The upgrade to me seemed like a 2door Red Ruby wheel, more spray I think. Can't explain it, but went with my gut. They are both nice, IMHO.

I mean what if they had increased the JL by $500-$1000 instead of $2800-$3000

would that negatively effect the Wrangler brand?

I suspect the safety and structural improvements alone justify a large part of the price increase.

Is the soft top with the sliding windows, that they have been showing, the standard or premium soft top?

Does Uconnect 7.0 have navigation? It doesn't list it, but the picture shows maps.
Not sure about Nav screen, I believe it does have nav. And as far as I read, Zippers are gone!
