Maybe the upgraded LED light package will keep some of these toolbags from driving around with the fog lights on all the time! Every time I see a JK with the fog lights on, when no fog is around I just want to hit them with the fog lights on my TJ.:mad:
eh? Why do you care if someone has their fog lights on?

Is the soft top with the sliding windows, that they have been showing, the standard or premium soft top?

Does Uconnect 7.0 have navigation? It doesn't list it, but the picture shows maps.

Both tops are sliding and ziperless, the premium is a twill material (better quality and lasts longer)
Uconnect 4 is the standard without NAV, 7 has NAV if you upgrade to the Technology Group (needs confirmation)

Correcting myself, according to the BP site, Uconnect 3 with 5" screen does not have NAV, you have to get the upgraded Uconnect 4 (Sport S option) or 4C (Sahara / Rubicon)

The 4C Uconnect is only available on Sahara and Rubicon as part of the Infotainment Group (or for the Sahara as the single 4C w/NAV Interior upgrade option)

HOWEVER for the Sport S with the Uconnect 4 7" upgrade (or standard items in Sahara and Rubicon)
These are apple car play / android auto capable units....so you can get NAV from an App....I dont know how this works, obviously something to do with your phone...probably using your data and bluetooth i guess? That is what you see in the picture of Nav, its google maps through the apps. This option is available for the Sport S as part of the Technology Group.

NONE of this applies to the Sport

Rubicons and Saharas that decide to option up to the 4C upgrade have included NAV, with a bunch of other stuff (hope we get a demo of this with TFL tomorrow) no phone based apps required but probably still optional...no idea.

Here is a comparison of the JL I would want, compared to a similarly configured JK I would want. $4,400 USD price difference.

I don't need the extra light blinding when it coming the other direction. If you can't see with your factory headlights put your glasses on or upgrade your lights.

It's the aftermarket HIDs that people put on that cause the biggest problem with glare.

Similarly configured? I might be missing something but the JK has color matched top and fenders, which are significant upgrades. The JL you have configured does not include those. So in reality it's quit more then $4,400 difference.

If you're going to talk "upgrades" a stock JL vs stock JK is no comparison. It's not just check boxes, how about everything that comes built in. What value do you attribute to better ride quality, transmissions, interior, engine, lighter top and on and on. Not sure why no one focuses on these when talking price. They increase prices year to year even for no or tiny incremental changes. There's a lot baked into the JL that more than account for the price gap.

I said "that I would want". If I was getting a JK, I'd want Rhino with colour top/fenders. If I'm going JL, I'd want Red with black fenders/top. That's what it's costing me to go from my JK wish to my JL wish.

Other than that they are similarly configured. Or as similarly as I could make them.

Right, you're getting a lot more with the JL. Update engine, new transmission, steel winch-ready bumper etc, better Uconnect, bigger tires etc etc etc...

You're getting quite a bit more with the JL.
