How do I open this connector?

Thats just a standard connector, push down on the bit that bends down and pull them apart. If it isnt going push the 2 halves together and try again.

Are you talking about the brown connector? if so yes as @yokramer already said push the two connectors toward each other, push the lever down outlined in black, then pull the connectors apart making sure not to pull on the wires themselves. Today I’m just repeating everything yokramer says so I seem smart

The other responders are correct. I have a tool that is meant to help push the tab down which makes it easier. I have seen a mechanic use a flat head screwdriver to push the tab down but you have to be careful with that method.

That straight bar on the left connector...pull it out.
