Can anyone post where the Aux wiring harness is in the cabin. I need the ignition on wire and I've seen passenger's footwell AND driver's footwell.

Thank you

Passenger side footwell under the HVAC blower running along the top edge of the carpet. They may be folded back on themselves and taped up

Passenger only. Carefully cut and unwrap the smooth vinyl tape shown in the pic above.

Related note: The Red/White constant 12v battery source is only 10A. I learned the hard way :)

Thank you. The USB adapter for a dashcam is 2A, so that should be good.

What were you hooking up?
Tury Pro one-touch window up/down module.

I thought I was being clever by using the aux battery connection avoiding running the wire through the firewall direct to the battery.

The module needs 30A.

Oops.

I did hook up my old skool fog lights to AUX1 using the harness under the hood by the battery, easy-peasy.

My 2025 has 6 inside the cabin, 2 high amp aux, 2 low amp aux, 1 low amp switched from "key switch" and 1 low amp hot. It's recommended that if you use the two that not aux switched that you use a fuse. When I wired my GPS I put in a home made harness from the negative standoff to cover any additional wiring to inside.

What dash cam are you installing and where are you putting it? I have a Garmin Live on order and I was going to use a OBD/USB adapter to run the camera 24/7. I was going to put it low on the driver side. Small windshield.

I am using a vantrue N2. I plan on tying it in to the "ignition on" aux wiring. I don't use always on because the Jeep is usually parked in my garage. Makes me wonder if I need a fuse though. The 12v to USB adapter is rated for 2 amps. I usually mount the dashcam's upper right, under the passenger's sun visor.

You may want to consider using aux 3 or 4 so the camera will stay on when it is NOT parked in your garage. The only issue is you have to remember to turn it on but that way you will be recording any incident that happens in a parking lot or at a repair or service shop. This is what I'll use, you can set on a timer.

Thanks, I had not seen one of those. For years I've run the dashcam (mostly as a trail cam) - I stitch together the files and as a traffic monitor. Might have to look into to that.
