Oil and tire rotation every 5k. Air filters at every 10-15k. Coolant at 100, sparks and trans fluid at 60. Between 60-100k I’ll do brake fluid and diff fluid as well. Done it this way on all of my cars and have had good luck.

Although with the jeep I’ve been doing some more bulletproofing. Replacing as many coolant parts with aluminum as I can. Already done the heater T, tank, overflow T and the Y. Next on my list is replacing the wastegate rod with an upgraded one for an Alfa that won’t rattle and drive me nuts with the doors off hahaha.

Hmmm, let's see...
Picked up my 2023 JLU Rubicon (3.6/Stick) near-new with 3200 miles on it Oct '25, and since then I've personally done:

• Two oil/filter changes (5k and second just today at 10K)
• Trans, transfer case, and diffs fluids at 7K.
• Bunch of bolt-ons (Fox 2.5 Resi shocks and ATS, belly and diff skids, catch can, etc...)
• New aux battery (died) and a few other things I'm likely forgetting.

Got new wheels and reused existing tires for now, shop did that though.
I prefer doing my own work whenever possible, but it's also still under warranty so anything major Mopar can do (or deny for whatever made-up reason. ; )

I've been a Mopar fan all my life and owned a ton of CDPJR stuff so eh, I know what I'm getting into. First Jeep though, and so far I'm enjoying it a lot!

Friday is almost here, so let's talk Jeep maintenance.

Everyone seems to have their own maintenance routine. Some people are constantly checking fluids, greasing components, and sticking to strict service schedules. Others keep things pretty simple. Personally, I think one of the easiest things you can do for any vehicle is keep it out of the blazing sun and heavy rain whenever possible. Less UV exposure, less weather damage, and less fading over time.

What about you? What maintenance items do you stay on top of? And are there any maintenance mistakes that you think Jeep owners should avoid?

Main-te-nance? You mean like turning the stereo up to drown out any odd noises, or putting tape over the CEL (out of sight, out of mind)?

Oil change at 60% life, tire rotations, gear lube and portal lube change, in South Korea, since it's no longer stock any dealer says "Tooo much tuning" so dealers won't touch it. I do everything myself.

I have the dealer change my oil which feels weird seeing as I've done all the wrenching on mine, but its a time and energy thing plus maintenance record. Oil changes at home just dont really save THAT much unless youre having to do a ton of them. I dont drive enough working from home full time to where thats a real issue.

Also, how are those rgb pods coming along @SUPAREE lol. I keep seeing more rgb pods in the wild knowing they dont look near as good as the hyper 5s are going to.

Thanks for still keeping an eye on them! Right now, we’ve confirmed six colors and six lighting effects, and we’re still fine-tuning some of the details. Once the final samples are ready, we’ll be sharing some outdoor photos next month. Stay tuned!

I do 95% off all my own maintenance and repairs. The things I don't do are gears. I do all the fluid changes, brakes, most of my suspension work except to alignments. I do alignments while on the road if I push it out of alignment bad enough that I need to adjust it so I can drive it. I do engine repairs unless I am on the road. For instance, at about 150,000 miles while tracing out west, the passenger cam went bad. I had a shop in Iowa fix that. If I was at home, I would have done work. I have a great mechanic and if it is winter time and cold out, I will farms some things out to him as I don't want to lay on a cold driveway or cold garage to do the work.
