LED fogs flickered when i had my rubicon bumper installed, while keeping my stock halogen headlights.

UPDATE (08/31/18): Dealer reprogrammed my PCM with the LED lights/LED exterior lights salescode that was optional for my VIN. My "LED fog flicker" issue is nonexistent.

Rubicon steel bumper w/Mopar factory LED fog assembly lamps.

That is the stubby version, correct? Any hiccups with installation?

@vrtraa I would like to know the same? Bumper brand and model (assume also LOD). If you wanted to do the relocated brake light in the center of the tire could you remove the one you have? Any rattles or anything on the tire carrier.

BTW this set up is the best I have seen so far.

This is indeed the LoD stubby version. The only hiccups I had in the installation was I did not have a 22mm socket or a 1.5” socket and being that I live in the middle of nowhere (Fort Irwin) I had no stores that sold them so I had to wait for someone to reply from my platoon/company that had the tools. Also the camera relocation kit was kinda tough because it didn’t say exactly where to slit a hole to run behind the passenger taillight so I kinda made my own way around that. The 3rd taillight I have installed is an option so it would be very easy to move it to the center of the tire. Just got done driving it to San Diego and there wasn’t any rattling that I heard on the drive!

VRTAA, I'm also interested in the install. Did you keep the backup camera / rear brake light and did you have to do any wire splicing? Also are there any rattles?

I have the same backup camera just did the relocation kit option from LoD. I kept the rear brake light as well. There wasn’t any splicing required at all. Very was simple (just a little time consuming).

I should be more specific. The actual brake light I kept but I used the LoD bracket to mount the light.

I think these LED bulbs have fixed my LED fog flicker problem. LED fogs flickered when i had my rubicon bumper installed, while keeping my stock halogen headlights. After replacing them w/these LEDs, I have yet to notice a flicker with either item. I will check tonight tho.

Just took Lil' Hulk for a ride. LED headlight bulbs are PERFECT. No flicker.

However my LED Mopar fogs are still flickering, but a lot LESS than before.

Nope, will try to take some tomorrow! Good suggestion. I also need to aim them appropriately. Gotta do that anyway...they are crazy bright though...literally as bright as the LED fog assembly lights. I was really surprised at the matched intensity and color.

This is one of my favorite mods. I'm quite pleased as it's necessary and functional and a much affordable option than spending $1200 on Mopar factory LEDs that wont be released until July 2019.

Perfect, thank you! What do you think about the license plate mount? I was also wantung to put that into the wheel mount, ratherv than the JK mount. The noon centered plate mount just kills me.

Just made a slot hole a smidge wider
Originally it comes with 3 M8 bolts, you have to replace them with M10
Under 15min work and looks very sturdy, and so far the only option out there I liked.
