Connected services internet connection

Anyone currently having internet issues with connected services? Everything seems to be working but internet so no hot spot and Alexa won’t connect.
2025 rubicon for reference

Heading to dealer for other stuff today. Wondering if I bother bringing it up if it’s wide spread and just a service issue.

Yeah I remember that on the pre 24’s. My 2020 fail victim to that. I need it a lot to do video call and such from my laptop while on the road in some of the areas I was going to. Worked good until that fiasco. Only fix at the time was resetting the radio via a fuse and letting it sleep. There were some issues as I recall with people not having got a few OTA updates because of it. Sad part…. I found a solid fix for the issue and passed it on… no idea if it ever got implemented or not. I doubt it did.

Dealer can't fix it. It's an issue with the uconnect5 systems. The internet connection just doesn't work for shit sometimes, and connected services in general are a total crap shoot.

It's a complete coin toss if the weather app works on my 2024 or 2025 for example

I did get ahold of services and got a case started. And passed that on to the shop, said they could fix it. I honestly have a better chance of doing that myself. But like everything else it’s under warranty and I gave them documented proof on all this. Let them handle it. It would be another 6 months at least before I’d be able to bother finding the time to deal with it myself. I got 20 that says it’s the antenna anyways.

I actually use the weather app all the time and haven’t had any issues. I bet it don’t right now though. Works better than the one on my phone though lol.

They did mention though that some big and they stressed big OTA update is coming shortly…. So maybe in a year all the 24-26 ICE wranglers and gladiators will brick for a weekend like the 4xe’s

Speaking of which they had like 6 sitting there waiting for service and that’s just what I saw!
