Hi there,
Just wanted to start a thread about this to see if anyone else is experiencing these issues and has found resolution.
I have a 2024 Jeep Sport S with base factory speaker system/uconnect5 (no nav)
Issues have been things like:
- Brief (1-2 second), intermittent black out of sound during play back (typically every few songs) - USB A and Bluetooth
- Siri glitching (icon appearing when button pressed but then fading/bugging) - USB A and Bluetooth
- Failure to connect device upon start up - Bluetooth
- Complete loss of audio to where phone appears connected and will even display a new song when prompted but will not play. Pressing play/pause icon will switch between two commands but nothing further will happen - USB A and Bluetooth
I took the vehicle back to the dealer this week after I had done my own troubleshooting and followed every piece of advice I could find online. Unfortunately, they were unable to replicate any of these issues but did say these are common problems (among Jeep but also other 2024 vehicles) and they hope a software update will come out soon to resolve.
I should note that it appears to me that using USB C yields little to no issues - which is great! Would still prefer that the system works as advertised though.
