Thanks! so I saw this on another post:

"Okay, so I just saw both the Sahara and Rubicon in both leather and cloth combinations. I felt that the Sahara cloth was pretty plain and not very interesting, vs the Rubicon which had nice honeycomb looking patterns and what appeared to be some ballistic nylon. One very positive thing I noticed was that with the leather option, you get a folding center armrest with integrated cup holders in the rear seats. It also adds leather on the dash (instead of plastic), and leather wrapped shifting knobs. Without the leather, you don't get any armrest and the tall plastic cupholders are on the floorboard making the rear center seat almost unusable because of the lack of legroom.
For Rubicon, I'd probably get the cloth to save for other options, but on the Sahara, I think I would elect the leather for the reasons stated above."

so if I dont get leather on a rubi do I lose the leather on the armrest, dash, shifter etc?"
Those options are looking good. But you can not add them on "Build a Jeep". And isn't
the Sahara only a 4dr ?

I have ordered a 2 door Rubicon all white with matching fenders and with the 2.0 turbo....VERY CONCERNED that the turbo motor choice will seriously delay this order - anyone on here heard of any news about the 2.0 turbo availability??? Any FCA people on here with news???
when i picked up my jeep on thursday, my salesman said they werent even letting you order the turbo anymore.

Thinking I'm going to order a Punk'n Rubi before the deadline this week. I'd wait til 2019 if I knew they'd have Punk'n but don't want to risk not getting it.

Here is the build sheet the dealer gave me...anyone see anything out of the ordinary on here...or have any advice?

Only thing I may add is the leather seats...debating between black and tan leather.

Black interior Rubi gets the Red Dashboard. Tan interior Rubi gets the grey dashboard. The 8.4 inch Nav screen comes with the Premium Alpine Speakers. It is awesome!!! 520 watt subwoofer really blasts.

I haven't had any issues with the controls, but I'm Android (Samsung Gal S8). Mine is the 5" screen as well. If it keeps on switching around, then I'd say, yep it's a glitch.
I'll give it some time and if it continues acting up, I'll take in. That's what the warranty's for! lol

Saw my first two door JL today at The Big Jeep Thing in Milford CT. The white JL was from Great Barrington Ma. about 10 miles east of me.
I grew up in Milford!! Nice...

Perfect summer day - spent a few hours detailing my Jeep. Used Mother's Back to Black on exterior plastic, turned out great. I've never named my cars before, but I'm thinking this one will be called GiGi. Pronounced the French way, not GG, but it does stand for gas guzzler! lol Actually, it's not quite as bad as I thought it would be.

Folding armrest in rear is only on the short bus, errr, I mean the unlimited.

That said, no regrets on my leather.

I know every body loves leather seats , but i'll tell you what i had the top down thursday, friday , and saturday, with the sun beating down hard. i would not of wanted to get into leather seats any of those days. Also if you want punk'n I would order this year, jeep doesn't usually keep the odd ball colors for more then one year.
Leather seats aren't nearly as bad as vinyl... As any other old fart that is around my age can attest to... You learned really quickly to not wear shorts and no shirt with vinyl seats or you kept a beach towel to lay over the seat. Also remember, shorts back in the '70s were a lot shorter than you see people wearing these days. Look at the old NBA uniforms for an idea of how much leg skin would be exposed to the seats. :) The molten vinyl just sticks to the skin. A lot worse than leather. I had a '66 VW Bug with vinyl seats. No air-conditioning, of course back then... 6V electrical system to boot. :)

I guess they figure that if they quit letting people order them, they won't have to worry about them burning down their parking lots along with the other non-etorque-gimmick vehicles.

I just can't understand why someone would want that gimmick. It doesn't save you any money on fuel (minimal increase in fuel economy, but at the expense of needing 91+ octane) and the hp and torque are not improved enough to justify the cost of the engine plus being required to have an automatic transmission.

If you want an electric golf cart, buy an electric golf car, don't try to make a Jeep into one. Jeeps should run on dino-juice.
