So sorry to hear of your difficulties, but really glad she is taking care of you. Probably nothing...maybe some loose fuses???So, just got home. Too late to take pics but will do so tomorrow. Now here’s the thing......
Test drive went great, no problems with paperwork and the like, smooth experience. Halfway to the house I get 2 warning lights..... driveable, but start stop says needs service and so does traction control. By then it’s after 9pm so figure I take it in in morning. I sent my sales rep a txt, but seeing how late it is figured she would get back to me tomorrow.
She responded in 5 minutes, told me she would do her best to be in by 730am, will txt me when she leaves home. Wants to meet me and take my ride to the service director directly to have it looked at immediately.
So not exactly thrilled but impressed by her level of attention.
O her eyes lit up! She is all ready to go for a drive tomorrow in safari mode.So sorry to hear of your difficulties, but really glad she is taking care of you. Probably nothing...maybe some loose fuses???
BTW...what did your foster daughter say about the Jeep?
Fingers crossed! I'm sure it's nothing...good luck tomorrow.O her eyes lit up! She is all ready to go for a drive tomorrow in safari mode.
And yeah When I get up in the morning going to check fuses. Sneaky feeling that is the problem. They moved it thru PDI super quick so may have been missed.
Ok will work on that tomorrow. Installed the Magnaflow Pro Series Off-Road Exhaust today. The Jeep sounds mean now coupled with the AFE CAI.Please post a "sound clip" both when parked and on road during acceleration if possible. Thanks.

G’morning, James! So, shameless plug...not for me personally, but for a company that I think is doing a great job making accessories for us Jeeples. So much so that i reached out to them to offer my unicorn as a test vehicle and for measurements for new 2-door products. (They are in San Jose...not far from me.) Met up with their designer and co-founder Rob on Tuesday. He spent a lot of time taking pics and measurements, and a bit of video of me using my grab-handles to use in promotional content. Anyway, super nice and talented guy, great company, fantastic products..and hopefully some cool 2-door JL specific stuff in the near future...check them out:

And here's a quick, unedited snippet of me in my JL....The top is in a kind of weird (sunrider+safari) position because I didn't notice at the time (we had been taking a lot of different measurements) so don't judge LOL!

I would fly as well as it is a long, long drive from Eastern NY. And I wonder if there are any places that rent Jeeps by the week as they did Ignacio Colorado years ago from Dollar right at the airport. They also rented In Silverton at a crazy 8 hour a day rate for those wanting to see some of the trails. That is so not central for me! :cwl:

No worries, I’d just fly! I do my off roading from the pax seat & on my feet!I love being the one capturing the action!

I know with my JK there were times I could shift into 4H and/or 4L while totally stoped and other times I would have to be rolling somewhat. Think that it has to do with syncing the gears, if they are not “lined up” as far as meshing it would difficult to shift.T
You should be able to shift into 4 hi anywhere from stopped to 40 mph, Now 4 low normaly you want to be moving between 3-5 mph. The jeep expert told me when we went over my vehicle at the dealership , that jeep wants you to be moving at least 5 mph even to shift into 4 hi . I said to him you mean 4 low. He said no 4 hi also, Which you found out is bull, you cant go 5 mph when your stuck already.
G’morning Jason!Morning everyone!
That feeling when you finally pick up your Jeep

Thanks Jeff! Yeah, I knew HOW to do it; she just wouldn't go into 4H for some reason. So I was just wondering if anyone else had played around in 4WD yet and if they had any trouble too.T
