Last week I bought a 2 door Rubicon X off the lot for $16k below MSRP. That included TL, 2k Jeep rebate and the 1k coupon I got off the Jeep site. In my opinion, they cannot give two door jeeps away. During my shopping experience, the least I was offered was $7000 below MSRP. And there is currently a two-door green Rubicon at Peterson jeep in Nampa that is advertised on the website for 10,000 below MSRP. That is where I bought the X.

I actually looked into a lift kit for it but the wife said no. The lift doesn’t fit the hybrid anyway, not without modifications. Maybe someday.
After I found out about TL, I didn’t ask for anything, I either handed, or emailed the letter. I actually never heard of TL, but one of the dealers I contacted, asked if I was a member. Apparently, dealers have a huge misunderstanding of how it works. Some told me it doesn’t apply if the price is negotiated below 1% of invoice, others said it did apply. All I know is it saved me a little over a grand. Actually it cost me $100, so it saved me a bit over $900. All I know is if you’re not in a hurry, it pays to shop. The $16k I saved will almost pay for the AEV build I ordered. I almost waited to pull the trigger to see if additional rebates would drop for Labor Day and as of now, they have not.
That's what Tread Lightly said, but it's a Stellantis discount. Apparently Stellantis is tightening the screws on this one.It is documented on the TL form I received.

It is need vs want and how much time and money do you want to spend. I spent a bit less than two months shopping and ended up with 16k off MSRP….at a local dealership with a vehicle on the lot. Check out the attached screenshot. The green Rubicon is advertised at approximately 10,000 below MSRP. The 2 door X I purchased was advertised at about 8k below MSRP. I actually ordered another X from a different dealership at $10,000 below MSRP, but I kept an eye on the one on a lot….same dealership as screenshot. I ended buying the one off the lot and got a refund on deposit of the one I ordered. As far as I can determine, the one I purchased was on the lot at least 4 months. Bottomline, if you’re happy, everything is good. Like the DJIA, the market is impossible to time and although it may improve, now is a great time to buy. A side note, I did most of my shopping on the phone and online, but the times I visited a dealership, I was the only buyer present. Life is short, enjoy the ride!So I did my 2nd jeep trade in. Today I was able to work on them with rebates 6k off msrp sahara sky top leather v 6 all packages they refused yo do tread lightly I think tgey didn't know how to use it my ar sides from affiliate program populated in their screen this morning. I hanmmered them and ended up with another 600 off s I fdd well i think for RI..not like a gruptons but I ended up paying 57k vs msrp of 63650..and I got my earl!
