My usb port media hub isnt getting any power to it. The lighting trim doesnt come on and the usb in the center console isnt working.

I have a 21 Willys with aftermarket audio which killed my battery due to me playing it with the car off for too long. Went about a week jumping it to start with a jumper, everything was fine then the usb hub just stopped working! Replaced my battery and still didnt work.

I've checked all fuses numerously. The 12v lighter input works just fine(and in rear).

Im running out of options and may have to go to the dealer smh!

Anybody have any solutions?

If you don't have a 4xe or eTorque you have a second Aux battery to replace as well. It's type AUX14 and it's under the fuse box.

Yes i have etorque so i do not have an aux batt or an alternator , which i discovered while trying to change it...got all the way down there and no aux batt lol.

However there is no power to the usb media hub. I am receiving full power throughout the jeep since Ive changed the battery.

In that case you may have popped a fuse while changing the battery. It's not all that hard to do.

…even the high voltage fuses, that’s a strip along the outside of the fuse box? An easy one to miss.
Yes definitely missed those, hell didnt even know they existed. Given that it controlss the aux switches this may be the issue. Will have to order and hope i didnt waste money. Thanks will update

You can easily check them with a continuity tester. Here's the procedure.

A key thing is that the JL has multiple batteries so battery cables are still hot even after they're disconnected from the battery. If they short they'll blow out the high amp fuse array.

I go so far as to immediately put the battery cable ends in plastic sandwich bags and secure it with a rubber band. It's just too easy to create a short with the loose battery cable.

I believe that the F11 fuse controls the power to those USB ports. If everything else is working on the Jeep, I doubt the problem is being caused by a bad high amp fuse array.

F11 Fuse – 10 Amp Red - UCI Port (USB & AUX); Universal Consumer Interface (UCI), also used for software updates
F51 Fuse – 10 Amp Red - Digital TV (DSRC)/USB/InSide RearView Mirror (ISRVM)/ Compass Module (CSGM)
F102 Fuse – 15 Amp Blue - DUAL USB PORT

Which blown high current fuse would kill only the USB/media hub?

It's not possible.
oh my! so with that being said could it just be the actual hub hardware?

Not really. Most vehicle electronics - including the aux switches, but not including the radiator fan and power steering - are downstream of the N1 bus.

N1 uses a bus - not a fuse - so effectively it can't blow. However, in Jeeps with an N1 powered by the Aux/ESS battery, the N3 fuse can blow breaking the connection between the alternator/main battery and the Aux/ESS battery. The Aux/ESS battery is then drained by the (downstream of N1) vehicle electronics until they're all disabled and the vehicle won't operate/start.

You may be thinking of low 12V battery conditions causing the aux switches to be disabled?

oh my! so with that being said could it just be the actual hub hardware?
Seems possible. And if you're sure its fuse is intact, probable. That, or some connection issue caused by the aftermarket audio install.
