Maintain Media Hub Power

I am installing an aftermarket radio in my 18 JLUR and need to disconnect from the media hub for CarPlay, leaving the media hub dead. I recognize I likely can’t get CarPlay to it now, but is there a way to run power to the media hub so passengers can still charge their phone?

I see an Axxess adapter for $6.99 at Best Buy and wondering if that will work somehow.

What radio are you installing? You might be able to replace the OEM hub with this:
