Aside from liability and greed, it appears there's no technical issue with an owner performing the installation rather than the manufacture's recommendation that it should be installed by a Jeep tech at a Jeep dealer service.

But obviously Mopar doesn't even bother to update the stock photo. Apparently spending 2 minutes on updating product page is unacceptable to them

Of course they want you to have them install everything. But no it’s literally two small screws. It takes 30 seconds to put them in

Well yeah, that's a given but early on they seemed to be spinning it that there were possible issues DYI'ing it due to the proximity to the airbag mechanism. Nice to learn that was all bullshit.
