I am amazed how the Jeep seems to have a Love/Hate relationship with their owners.

I know on my forums many manufactures read posts like this and take them back to upper management. Select your rating and expound on it. Maybe as a group we can get our message to FCA management and help to shape the future of Jeep!

10. Best vehicle I have ever purchased
9. For the most part its exactly what I expected, Would buy again
8. Awesome vehicle can't wait for the next new model to buy
7. So, So, But it does the job. FCA could have done better for the price
6. I have had issues but got FCA took care of them, happy
5. Not unhappy, but not happy
4. Its been an uphill battle, I have had more then my share of problems
3. Not what I expected, I don't really feel Jeep Cares.
2. Its been an uphill battle, would not buy again
1. Total garbage, sorry I purchased and would not recommend.

Remember, select your rating and say why you feel this way! Cheers to all!
I give it a 9. I have had several Jeeps and I have never once been driving down the road thinking "Wow, this Jeep is really quiet" Until this Jeep. My first Jeep was a 1977 CJ5. This one makes #7. And they just keep getting better. They are a pricey habit. I have had Big v8 muscle cars, Tuners, BMWs and I drive a Jeep, says it all.

I am surprised the results are as high as they are consider how many people on this forum are always complaining about their Jeeps. In the near future I will total the results and come up with a final average number.

I did get a private message saying to the effect, you really don't expect total honesty do you?
Furthermore it was pointed out that people who feel they made a 50k+ mistake or disappointed in their purchase usually don't want to admit because they are embarrassed or don't want to be called stupid.

I don't know if this is the case or not, Everyone needs to be honest. I really wanted this thread to be a tool that FCA could use to possibly upgrade quality, see the hot issues and hear the voices both positive and negative from their loyal Jeep owners.

9.5 It's largely what I expected, all in a good sense. However, recurrent and punishing price increases are such that I might be priced out in the future.

Im at a hard 9, maybe a soft 10. I love my Wrangler, I love wheeling it and wrenching on it to put mods and upgrades on. Not a huge fan of the price tag. I also need to find a better dealer than the one I bought it at as I most certainly will not be returning to them.

It’s a 10 ,love the versatility I have in it’s many uses and the fact that when we are cruising with the top down doors off I can see the stress melt from my wife’s face as she listens to the music with the wind in her hair !!!

Boy, I feel like I shouldn’t even say. Most here say it’s the most amazing thing. I’d only give it a 5. Would I buy another, most likely…but that’s not because it’s amazing. It’s just kinda fun to throw money at because there’s so much aftermarket stuff available. It’s a hobby vehicle.

None of the options suited my feelings exactly, so I'll say a mash up of 7, 8 and 9

So instead of:

9. For the most part its exactly what I expected, Would buy again
8. Awesome vehicle can't wait for the next new model to buy
7. So, So, But it does the job. FCA could have done better for the price

I'd go with: "For the most part it's exactly what I expected, awesome vehicle, but FCA/Stellantis/whatevertheybecome could have done better ON the price." ?

A couple could be getting deceptive votes- #9- yes I would buy again, soon you will not be able too, the other I would buy is already not available. Which leads to #8- Honest answer to be determined, will there be acceptable engine replacements for the V8 & diesel ? Plus what will the next new model be like otherwise is also an unknown. Next #7 , my $77.6 K Jeep is now $98.2K plus higher shipping, and higher confiscatory Ca sales tax and license putting it at ~$108.5K, close to or out of reach, this effects 9 … Complaints- those with complaints shout them, those without say little unless asked, as you have done. Yes, I have a few complaints, but on balance I’m beyond satisfied with most expectations surpassed.

Keep in mind this is an enthusiasts forum. I’d expect results to be less enthusiastic among the wider public.

Out of my 3 jeeps (still have the tj and jl, traded jk) the jl definitely has had the most problems. When i bought mine, 10. When i spent months and $$$ getting the steering right 1. Then the steering was right so i forgot about the $$$ and back to about a 9. Pretty minor stuff after that, 4 broken visors and a new alternator later, probably a solid 8. Then i get a bad rocker at 55k miles. I drop to a 3. Covered under warranty, back to a 7 maybe. You get the point. I definitely don't have a lot of long term confidence in the JL. My TJ is going on 21 years. I highly doubt the JL will come anywhere near.

They don't make them like they used to.

I think it's a fantastic vehicle. it's raw, honest, imperfect and a joy to drive. I smile EVERY time I get behind the wheel.. yes, it doesn't handle well, it floats on the highway, and is fairly basic. but I LOVE my 2023 willy manual. this is my daily, my other car cost nearly 4 times more... its considered driving perfection... and I can't disagree.... you feel connected to it... I find that my JL shares many of the same emotional connects, both are stick. I find myself needing to pick which to drive on a nice day... that to me is amazing... the jeep is such a pure driving experience.... I never expected to enjoy it so viscerally.

#7. The JL does its job. However, also own 5th Gen 4runner TRD offroads. 4runner is better. JL is compared to the Toyota's in the household. Toyota is a better vehicle. JL always starts. Air conditioning, hardtop, power windows and locks were all options. 4runners came with all that plus no wind noise and better road manners.
