I'm with you on that. Discount Tire criss crosses them. Why can't the dealer? Lazy? Uninformed? I watched my Chevrolet dealer rotating tires once. The Lube Tech whistled for the Service Writer to come help him after he had all the lug nuts loose. The Lube Tech took the front tire off while the Service Writer took the rear tire off, then they just traded positions. The Lube Tech didn't have to pick anything up off the floor. Go figure.My local dealer won't even rotate them right. They just move the backs to the front and fronts to the back without criss crossing them. I got tired of arguing with them (I even showed them the owner's manual instructions). The service manager said that's how they always do it and it doesn't matter. I stopped using them for any service after that.
