Anyone have experience with this Thor's Lightning Bolt compressor?

Not sure how or where it would mount. Maybe keep it portable and just connect to the battery, fill tires and pack away. I can't see any good place to hide and mount a compressor.
I loved my under the passenger seat mount for a ARB I had in a 2015 JKU. It was hidden from prying eyes and worked perfectly.

Epic adventures says that there is enough room under the seats for the twin ARB. They claim there is even with the 2024 electric seats. They state that within a month they will have a product to ship. Ive had them put me on a waiting list.

I already have the compressor and that mounting system is my first choice.

i take delivery of a new 392 in the next few weeks!

Good to know. I know they posted up on FB with a 2024 and the Kraken under seat set up. I wonder if you have to have the seat at a raised level for it to fit? Either AAL or the Kraken is good for me.

Good question on the seat. I was wondering the same thing.
it seems both are in prototype stage. Here’s hoping they have a product soon, I’m ready to buy.

Heres an update from epic on their underseat mounting of the arb twin.

There will be a VERY minor seat adjustment to accommodate the new Kraken model (apparently it’s about 1/4”, but all the details will be included in the installation guide that gets released with the 2024 Kraken - as it hasn’t been released yet, I currently don’t have a ton of details for you).
As far as when it will be available, you currently know as much as I do! As I previously mentioned, we are expecting an announcement about the new Kraken before the new year that will have the details everyone is waiting for, and I have a list of people waiting to hear when it’s going to be available (including you) - but at this time, I don’t have any more details than that. We know that people are excited and waiting though, haha!

Stay tuned and talk soon,
Jaimie

Ha, I just happen to be watching the YouTube of the new Kraken right now. They provide some spacers and longer bolts that slightly raises the back of the passenger seat.

I just ordered mine, and also bought the module that will stop inflation at a preset amount. Maybe I’m lazy..

after looking at all the options for mounting the twin ARB I like this option the best!

Agreeed. I just pre ordered mine as well. However the pressure controller was out of stock when I ordered.

Absolutely awesome news, especially for us 2024 owners with power seats who can't do under seat mounts.
https://americanadventurelab.com/product/jeep-jl-spare-tire-dual-arb-compressor-mount/
Cool to have options, but this particular one seems to put a ton of leverage on the gate, especially offroad with a spare 35" and larger.

I had a link break on my JK's ARB rear bumper/tire carrier combo which was a lot more solid than this.

BTW, the Mopar 20A compressor seats in the rear door itself. It's also a single, not twin cylinder for that reason.

the AAL is supposed to be the same depth as the OE carrier. and about 25 pounds if I remember correctly on what I heard. I really liked the AAL since the compressor was outside, BUT again it's not for sale yet... so if you want something permanent for the 2024 and you want it now, the Kraken is your best bet.
I ended up ordering the Kraken for two reasons.
1.Its available for pre-order NOW.
2. I also love how the Kraken has everything in a bundle, all you need to to add the compressor, and its ready for install. Not having to source cables or bolts or order anything else as an option (other than the pressure switch from ARB if you want).
