Final year for Challenger/Charger, already discontinued for GC/300, Wrangler 392’s low production numbers (edit- and base GW) doesn’t warrant continuing production. The low numbers do however open the possibility of having another years worth on hand. I don’t believe continued production of the “truck” version will matter. ??‍♂

CAFE is a killer for Stella.
Yep—also emissions, single cab, short bed Ram Classic dropped for 23 because wheel base is a factor for standards. ?

I initially voted No but changed it to Yes as I think Jeep will do 1 more year of the 392 for the 20th anniversary of the Rubicon

Well— the demise of the Hellcats/most 392 & V8’s for 24 was announced with the 23’s, but not all. The V8 was quietly dropped from the 2 row GC, also Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer (except base models) Hope springs eternal— being the flagship, a model year warning allowing special editions, get one before they are gone at confiscatory prices and mark ups is highly likely. I am reconsidering my vote.

at the beginning of the year I would of said 23 was the last run. However with the 20th anniversary still not out I believe there will be a 24 model year.

I thought 2023 was the 20th anniversary of the Rubicon?

Unless that's inaccurate, wouldn't an anniversary edition likely be a 2023 M/Y, not 2024?

(Not saying that it won't happen, btw, just that I don't think it would be a 2024, so it wouldn't impact the decision to keep the hemi around for 2024 or not.).

I'm hoping they do make one, personally, and SOON before the interest rates get any worse! ?

Only saving grace here is the end of the line for the myriad V8s in the Dodge lineup. Stopping gas Charger and Challenger sales is a way bigger deal for CAFE. Considering how few Wrangler 392s they sell ... this truck isn't going to be the make-or-break model that swings the CAFE rating. Jeep sold something like 6,000 392s last year, out of 204,000 Wranglers ... that's like 3% of the sales.

And when you think about it, the popularity of the 4xe is helping them out way more than the 392 is hurting them, again taking into account sales volume. And those sales are eating into the V6's share of sales ... which let's remember also has shit fuel economy, it's rated at 17/23 compared to the 392's 13/17.

They could easily keep selling it from that PoV; but I wouldn't be surprised if 2024 was the last year regardless. It's easy to see why Jeep would cut back on unnecessary complexity in the lineup.

Given all of the fanfare and "last call" stuff that Dodge did around the Charger and Challenger, it'd be kinda weird for the 392 to just disappear without Jeep running promotions.
