I liked the way the bumper turned out... yep the winch rope was the final touch. Now it’s time to get the rear bumper. I’m going with the poison spyder but it’s not out yet.

Have you got your jeep yet? My daughters Rubi just got it’s build sheet.

No, not yet. Ordered 5/16 D1 status since 6/1. Called again today and nothing new. They will not do anything until it's been in D1 for 30 days. Still just gathering parts.

Tomorrow will be my 4th trip to a dealer to have this looked at. I’m on my 2nd dealer which is a whole different story.
First dealer had no idea, and no rental car for me which was supposed to be there per Jeep Wave.
2nd visit at the second dealer the service tech had no idea what CarPlay was, he admitted he just plugged in the iPod, not an iPhone. I was guaranteed an ‘expert’ would be present for my 3rd visit.
3rd visit: the expert took the day off, so I got to go to the dealership for practice.
4th visit is tomorrow afternoon.
Jeep Wave and the dealer says these are known issues.

Sorry man. Keep fighting the good fight. Let us know how it is resolved. Vehicles these days are rolling computers. They need a Genius Bar as much as a mechanic

Had a full squad out at JW Corbett Saturday. I wasn't able to get a picture with all of us but we had 6 JKs, 2 JLs and 1 Super Duty in the back to make every hole seem like a puddle..

A great picture, I have to admit, I would have probably waited a few days before cleaning it up.

Switched to the 5" from the 13" AntennaX due to antenna slap at higher speeds. Actually think I have improved FM reception but I dont use AM/FM so just a cursory exam there. The 5" is solid, non-flexible I like it a lot.

My CMM mirrors are on order. Thoughts so far?

They were easy to install, have great fit and finish and look fantastic. It was a little time consuming to get them adjusted (I am a little OCD) but once they were aimed appropriately they are great to drive with once you get use to the field of view. Definitely was a great purchase.

Added Bartact gear to the rig, along with tactical gear and it looks different.

Do you have any seat cover in the rear under the car seat/booster? I am real nervous about what my little clowns are going to my new JLUR

I have done a few things.....not all today:

1. Antenna X 13
2. Plastic dip my keyholes
3. Got my wheels powder coated semi-gloss black (negotiated this with my dealer as part of the order)
4. Put on black lug nuts

The satellite receiver on the JL and the AM/FM radio antenna are two different animals.

The AM/FM reception takes a hit when you install much shorter antenna's, that is a given.

As far as Sirius/XM satellite radio, that is not impacted at all when you remove or change the AM FM "antenna".

The "satellite radio receiver" is what is used for SiriusXM reception.

On the Wrangler JK and JL, the "satellite radio receiver" for use with SiriusXM resides up on top of the sound bar/roll bar, just above and behind the passenger.

Ok... let me say again how fast you can go because I am wrong...I’ve done 45 and 50 with out the window coming up... today I was doing 40 with a crosswind and it blew up.. so, to be safe.. tie it down... time for a new windshield...

Interesting. I have the 13" and I am not getting slap but I had my doors off for the first time this weekend and I could see it bending big time at high speeds. Didn't notice it without the doors off.
