Dropped a new BESTOP Sunrider top on the Willys the other day. Got it on Friday, put it on so I could enjoy the ride the next day to Watkins Glen for Vintage Racing. And of course it rained on the way down! LOL!

The install went well. It’s the new series of Sunrider with the eyelet and screw installed of the “Z” clip. That was a little difficult with big arthritis laden hands of mine, but I’ll keep wrenching and modifying till I can’t pick up a tool no more.

This Top was well worth the effort for me.

Played w my taser some more. Cant get the damn boost guage to work. Nor remove the auto park. Although now i can back up and it doesn’t engage. Going forward it does. Gonna have to figure this out.
When was the last time you updated the firmware? I was talking to the guy at GSMJI cause I have some issues when I take my doors off and he said start there even though I bought mine in January cause they are fixing things all the time.

It totally looks like you're giving the forum The Finger ;)
My cousin actually. Forgot about that

How’d you like unboxing them, that’s always a good time……?
The LOD coffin. Is like an archeological dig getting them out. Made the mistake of opening it inside. Foam everywhere

I really appreciated how my LoD sliders got delivered, considering my previous rocksliders I bought for my Grand Cherokee (different brand) got sent to me in no packaging at all, not even wrapped in plastic. Just 2 rock sliders with a UPS label taped to each one. I couldn't believe the laziness of their shipping and packaging department. Needless to say, they needed a lot of touchup paint before I could even install them. Oh, and they costed more than the LoD sliders too.

Finished installing the full Artec underbelly skid kit plus rear LCA skids (previously installed the muffler skid). What a pain, but awesome protection now in place.

Not much today unfortunately:
  • put the Utah Foundry covers for the back of the front bumper
  • tried to hold my stop light to the mount with 3M double-side tape (somehow the two bolts that held it down went AWOL last week and the light was hanging by the wire)

Today I fixed my @KC HiLiTES FE4 wiring harness. Big thanks to that team for their support!

Those look great about to buy same lights, I am hoping to wire to a single aux switch without loss of functionality (don’t know if this is possible) curious about your experience.

You might be able to do it with a relay, but I only understand how those work in concept. I wired the ambers to Aux 3 and the Mains to Aux 1. But it requires me to remember to not have both on at the same time.

Watch Kevin’s video here where he covers how to do this. He’s sponsored by KC, so you can also DM him here with questions. Flex Era 4 Install
