Will a 255/70R18 tire from a 2013 JK fit on a stock JLUR wheel, 17x7.5?
Has anyone found inexpensive ways to ship rims with tires on?

That specific tire size is meant for an 18" wheel. It'll work on a factory Sahara wheel, but not a factory Rubicon wheel.

Even if it was a 255/70-17, it would be a smaller diameter and narrower than the Rubicons factory 285/70-17.

thanks - my son has the 2013 JK and I'm taking my OEM rims and tires off the Rubi. Not sure if it's worth shipping them for him to put both my 33inch tires and rims on his JK, with quality spacers.

Those tires must be on Sahara 18-inch rims; you cannot mount Rubicon’s 17-inch tires on them.

Having said that, you can mount Sahara wheels on a Rubicon and vice-versa.
