How the hell do you guys get lower control arm bolts torqued down to 190lb fts while the vehicle is on the ground?

It's a super short throw on torque wrench, but you just push and pull really hard. Nothing special to it. See if you can park it up on a curb or something to give you just a tad more throw if you're having issues.

I'm not old and I couldn't do it either. I use a 25 inch torque wrench, torque it to the most you can do by hand, then I roll a floor jack with a hockey puck on it under the end of the handle on the torque wrench. Jack up slightly, release, reposition, repeat until the torque wrench clicks.

That doesn't say 103. It's 103+ 50 degrees.

Each flat on the nut is 60 degrees. If you don't have a degree wheel for TQ wrenches, then go 103 + 1 flat.
Was thinking of trying to find an impact rated torque angle gauge, which doesn't seem to exist. But I suppose this could work as well if one wanted to use an impact gun to finish torquing after the initial 140 nm.

Floor jack under the torque wrench handle is also a good idea, which I've used in the past.

This is called wrench arc torque. It's been around a lot longer than TQ wrenches.

It's the reason why all wrench heads are bent in increments of 15 degrees and hardware is 6 sides of 60 degrees or is divisible by 15.

It's still used in most industries. Counting flats is the easiest way to do it since almost no one owns a TQ angle gauge.

I had to buy a bigger torque wrench. Old nearly 45 in a few days. Luckily I lifted Betty a couple inches.
