2 DOOR JL build/order discussions master thread

Well guys, I’ve been reading this forum since day one. I have been blessed with my 2 door JL. Called last Wednesday and moved from D1 to F and then I got a email from Cryp with the build sheet and then got a email for my sticker the next morning. My dealer called me yesterday afternoon and said my jeep had been picked up from the Nitro yard and it was delivered this morning and I just picked it up a hour ago!

If the story about not producing PSTs until July is true, I am DONE!

One 2 dr JL Rubi within 150 miles of me AND it has a PST! Seems crazy after what others have been told. If anyone wants to look it is at Wickstrom Jeep, Barrington, IL.

NOT TRUE, I am a LEDs and PST as my only two options and my build was finished TODAY!

Probably a silly question but, are you sure that was not the bag for the 2 removable pieces of hard top?

I’m sure. Not really a bag. More like a soft top wrapped in plastic

Are you sure they are dealer stock? Did you ask? If so we can all thank
Jeep for "Kicking us in the teeth while we're down" No matter how much we
complain and hate the service no one at Jeep cares about any of us.
Does ANYONE have an Email address for 1 person at Jeep Corp H.Q. ?
I would and I am sure others would like to send a kind Email to inform
them how great of a launch the 2dr. JL has been for us.

They show on the dealer website as for sale. They posted the window stickers and then say they are offering a 1300 discount of MSRP.

2 door inventory within 150 miles of Raleigh has grown from 3 to 12 in the past 2 days! All in transit. Good news. Suggests 2 door production ramping up.

Even though I have not waited nearly as long as most of you all, I think I will likely give up on all this madness at the end of June if I am not driving it by then. All of the delays seemed "normal" for quite a long while since I encountered similar delays for a couple weeks for this and a couple weeks for that while I was waiting on the build and shipping to begin on the S550 Mustang convertibles. So I am no stranger to the process of waiting to get what you really want. But Ford had people who knew exactly what was going on and shared accurate information about progress or lack thereof. They even gave me a complimentary warranty to cover the scheduled maintenance for 45K without me even asking for any compensation because our builds took a few extra weeks...oh, and when they were built, they actually shipped them to the new owners in a reasonable time frame. So, like many others, I am getting pretty disillusioned by this whole secretive process of making and shipping our JL's.

Externally, you have the same configuration as mine and what a beauty! If you would have a chance in the next couple of days, would you be able to share a few more pics from various angles?

Of the 12 two doors within 150 miles of Raleigh, 1 had a PST! Greenbriar in Chesapeake Va.

No regular soft tops. 1 PST and 11 hard tops.

I'm wondering how much better than that I can do on a base 2 door with A/C and anti spin. Not the most expensive, or most profitable, build. I haven't seen anyone here with a $30,000 MSRP build tell how far below MSRP they were able to score.
