Just spoke to my sales guy. He's showing ship date of 10/12. We all know by now that usually means Production date around then. He said: "you've got some Mopar parts, so really it probably rolls of the line somewhere near 10/12 and then goes to another shop for the Mopar parts". Makes sense to me.

And, he said I am price protected because it's a sold order, as long as the name it's ordered under matches the name of the person buying it. All the other language is just to protect them.

This is my 1st Jeep and my 1st ever custom order vehicle. My dealer says that the order was put in on Tuesday 9/26, but I panicked about Earl and changed the color to Reign and it was updated on Thursday 9/29. I don't have a VON and the dealer says it will probably be another week or so before I will know that my order has been accepted. Does this sound right? Also if they stopped taking orders for Reign on 9/30 do you think my order will still be honored?

Hmm that sounds a little fishy. You would have a VON almost immediately after the order was entered. Ask them for a copy of your POC (priced order confirmation). If they provide it, then your order is in and you will be able to see the current status on that sheet. If they can't provide the POC (or at least a VON), then they didn't put your order in yet. Let's hope that is not the case since you'll probably be out of luck regarding Reign.

Updated to built and new delivery date ?

Exciting!! Maybe it won't be long now. My original estimated delivery once it went into productionwas 11/1. It was built in 1 day and once it was built delivery changed to 10/17. It was delivered Saturday night to my dealer and it has been sitting in my driveway since late yesterday. My dealership gets truck deliveries straight from Toledo with no rail involved though.

NICE!! That is great news. It was about time. I saw the altitude that was in E status before you is now KZ (I wonder if they’re doing 1 at a time? Lol) and that took only a few days to build. So hopefully you’ll get it before 11/8!

I got my build sheet and window sticker yesterday, and a message from Jeep today saying that my Jeep has been built and shipped and should be here sometime between 10/6 and 10/20. Pizza tracker still says "In Production" I'm in WI, and I'm not sure what the transit time is from Toledo. It took a while to get moving but once it did, it really flew. Looking forward to my first hard core overlanding trip to the soccer park.

Dealer gave me a ship date of 10/13 which from what I’ve read is likely just the build date but either way it’s more information than I previously had.

Hey, I just saw your build and thought that I would send you a note. I just traded my 2019 Rubi with cloth seats for a 392 (I miss it already). Anyway, I was worried about the seat heater with the cloth seats and on my Wrangler, I can say that they worked as well if not better than the seat heater with leather seats. I was scared that the heat "conductivity" might be dampened with the cloth, but it was awesome! ...just sayin'.

Enjoy it when it gets there.

I have to agree that the cloth seats work really well with the seat heaters. This was one of my must have packages when specing my JL's replacement. This 4xe is a like for like replacement for my 2018 JLUR Manual.
