I've owned serveral Jeeps and was certianly expecting a cracked windshield within the first couple years. however, at under 2 mos. old the crack spawned from a chip that is smaller than the tip of a ball point pen.

Agreed! the pricing is way out of wack! Adding the 8.4 premium audio you're required to select one of 2 options : 8.4-Inch Radio Group $995 Sun and Screen Package $3,100 Sun and Screen Package seems to ONLY add "Rear Window Wiper and Defroster" for a whopping $2k over the 8.4-Inch Radio...

Anyone correct me if I’m mistaken… the SOT on all trim levels come painted body color.

That is exactly as I understood it since mid May. Essentially, once you include a body color hard top or SOT, Granite Crystal becomes unavailable to order in the system. Seems to be an issue with paint for the tops.

After reading through this thread, I was surprised nobody mentioned the convenience of just going with the Bestop 2-peice soft doors. Yes they are pricy, but close to 25% of the factory half doors. For those that like to "Get Naked" they provide protection from the elements when you're away...
